Welcome to The Eastern Conference Finals. I'm butterfly1964, and this may be one of the greatest matchups of all-time.
1. Joe Louis vs. 6. Sonny Liston - Olympia Stadium, Detroit, MI for fight #1.
Will Louis' technical brilliance be the difference in this fight, or will Liston overwhelm and be too much for Joe? Let's go over to Detroit, Michigan.

vs.
Welcome to the Olympia stadium in Detroit, where Joe Louis will meet up with Sonny Liston. Over 60,000 came tonight to see Louis. He is the 3 to 1 favorite. Louis weighed an in-shape 207, and liston was 212. Louis and Liston are both good friends, so at the press conference, there was nothing but respect. Here's the tale of the tape.
Joe Louis
age: 28
height: 6'-2"
weight: 207
reach: 76"
record: 56-1-0 (50ko)
Sonny Liston
age: 28
height: 6'-1"
weight: 212
reach: 84"
record: 28-1-0 (18ko)
And now Sonny Liston is in the ring accompanied by Willie Reddish. Some people boo, some people cheer. He is wearing a white robe. Joe Louis comes down the aisle and the crowd goes wild! Joe is with Jack Blackburn, and he is wearing a black robe with the words, "Joe Louis" on the back in bold, white lettering.
And now here is Michael Buffer!
Buffer: Welcome to the Eastern Conference Finals! Introducing, from Philadelphis, PA, wearing white trunks with black strips, at six feet one, weighing two twelve, The Big Bear, Charles Sonny Liston! Liston! And his opponent, from Detroit, MI, wearing black trunks with white trim, at six feet two weighing two oooh seven, the Brown Bomber, Joooe Loouissss! Looouiiisss!(the crows cheers)
Conn: You know the rules of the Michigan State Athletic Boxing Commision. Fight clean, and break when I tell you. Any questions? Ok, good luck.
Liston's trunks had the words, "Sonny Liston" written in black script, and Louis' trunks had the initials, "JL" written on his trunks in white lettering.
Round 1: Both men move out. Liston is the pursuer. both men use their jabs, they have very good one's indeed. Louis jabs and rips those lightning fast combos to the head, while lston slips some of the punches and go to the body. Both men clinch and they do some body work, with Louis outslugging his opponent. Liston lands a good left hook, which louis takes. Louis is jabbing and landing right hands when he can and slipping liston's shots. It's a fairly even round, as they both test each other's chins: Both Blackburn and Reddish is giving their fighters instructions.
Round 2: Liston is still pressuring louis and louis jabs and gets out of a corner. they both clinch and louis rips big shots to the body and head and liston holds on and takes time to recover. they break, and louis goes after him throwing great leather and liston looks out of it, but he recovers and fights back. This is louis' round, but liston still puts up a good fight: Louis looks poised and ready, and liston is still recovering.
Round 3: Liston goes back to applying the pressure and cutting off the ring. liston slips a jab and out reaches louis and lands a left hook. Liston continues and lands solid combos that rock louis. Louis tries to hold on, but louis outmuscles louis and liston pounds the body and lands a one-two, folloed by a left hook and a right uppercut, then a left lead and louis is down! Louis is down! He is really hurt. He tries to get up, but he can't, not until after Mark Conn counts to ten.
Michael Buffer: The winner by a knockout, at 2:01 of the third round, Sonnnyyy Liiiistoooon!
Liston: I'm glad I won. I hope to win again.
Louis: I have to avoid that left hook, but I'm still optimistic about this.
Well, there you have it. The crowd is stunned. That was a good fight. It's time to wrap it up for tonight. Once again, the final score, liston-ko3.
Goodnight.

I think he just wanted to write stories about Liston vs. Ali, and just filled in the other fighters for the sake of realism. Okay...so it hasn't been very realistic, but oh well.

vs.
Wecome to The Houston Astrodome, where Muhammad Ali is fighting Jack Dempsey. Ali gave Jack a one-sided beating, but can Dempsey bounce back? Ali is a 7 to 1 favorite. Ali is 207, while dempsey is at 183, tweny four pounds lighter than Ali. Dempsey seems to be very determined, but will that be enough? Here's the tale of the tape.
Muhammad Ali
age: 25
height: 6'-3"
weight: 207
reach: 83"
record: 29-0-0 (23ko)
Jack Dempsey
age: 28
height: 6'-1"
weight: 183
reach: 77"
record: 61-4-9 (49ko)
And now Jack Dempsey makes his way through the crowd. He is wearing a blue robe. He gets into the ring and practices his bob and weave.
And Muhammad Ali is seen and the crowd shoes their appreciation. Ali is wearing a red robe with his name on the back in white lettering. Now here is our official ring announer, Michael Buffer!
Michael Buffer: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing, from Manassah, CO, he's wearing solid black trunks, he stands six foot one, he weighs one ninety three, the manassah mauler Jaaaack Deempseeeey!(the crowd cheers loudly for Jack) And his opponent, (loud cheeres and screams) from Houston, TX, wearing red trunks with white trim, standing six three and weighing in at two hundred and seveen pounds, the greateeeest, Muuuhaaamaaaaaaaad Aaaaaaliiiiiiii! Llllllllllleeeets get reaaady too ruuuumbllllllllllllleee!!!!!
Mark Conn: You boys know the rules of the Texas State Athletic Boxing Commision. Protect yourself at all times. I want a good clean fight, and break when I tell you to break. Any questions? Shake hands.
Round 1: Dempsey is croutched and trying to make Ali miss, while Ali is on his toes. Ali uses his jab and the straight right. ALi jabs and jabs, and Dempsey slips a jab and scores with a good left hook. They both clinch, and dempsey pounds he body, while Ali just covers up. Ali is still on his toes, and dempsey is moving in and out looking for a spot. This is a good round for dempsey.
Round 2: Dempsey is still croutched and Ali tries to stay away. Ali uses his jab well and he peppers dempsey's face with punches. dempsey gets in some good body shots, and is scoring with his left hook and hurting ali. Ali still presses on and continue to hit those jabs and right hands to keep dempsey off-balance, and to move with that great speed to befuddle jack. Ali ties dempsey up in the clinches and is doing better than he did in the last round.
Round 3: Ali is still on his toes and tries to stay away, but dempsey is right on him and is able to pound the body and get's in some jolting uppercuts. Ali is stunned a bit, but he holds on and recovers. Ali is using short hooks to try and hurt dempsey, but jack just walks through them. Demosey continues to push the action and ali throws a right hand. Dempsey weaves around it, and lands a textbook left hook that drops ali! the crowd is on their feet. Ali is up at 5, and they continue as the bell rings!
Round 4: Ali is trying to command the pace of the fight, but dempsey just won't let him do that. Ali is on his toes, but he is a bit sluggish as he was lackadaisical in training. Dempsey is still very strong and dangerous. Ali tries to stay away, but he is bullied on the ropes and dempsey goes to work on him. after about 50-60 punches landed by dempsey, ali is worn out. Dempsey lands a big right hand and does ali goes again! ali is up at nine, and dempsey moves in to finish. A left hook and a right cross send hih staggering and bouncing off the ropes, and the referee stops the contest. Jack Dempsey wins!
Michael Buffer: The winner by tko, at 2:30 of the fourth round, Jaaaaaaaack Deeeeeempseeeeey!!(the crowd is stunned, but some of the folks are still satisfied)
Wow, dempsey evens it up. He wants to win this series badly. What will happen next? Find out next time on NBA Playoffs + Boxing +!
This is butterfly1964 saying, good day!
