Welcome to The Houston Astrodome, where Muhammad Ali will take on George Foreman again. foreman will try to go up 2-0 on ali, but can ali come back? earlier today, i had a chance to interview ali.

butterfly1964: Well Muhammad, what do you have in store tonight?

ali: I'll just do the same thing i did in the last fight. foreman caught me with a lucky punch, that's all.

butterfly: I would like to say that I am honored to be talking to my favorite fight of all time, and I wish you good luck in this fight.

ali: Thanks. Say, if you want I have a poster of me in one of my earlier fights. Would you like it?

      butterfly: I sure would!

I especially enjoyed that interview . now let's go to the tale of the tape.

      Muhammad Ali

      age: 25
      height: 6'-3"
      weight: 211
      reach: 83"
      record: 29-0-0 (23ko)

      George Foreman

      age: 24
      height: 6'-4"
      weight: 227
      reach: 81"
      record: 38-0-0 (35ko)

And now George foreman is walking down the aisle. with him is trainer **** saddler. foreman is wearing a red robe. he climbs in the ring and a few cheers could be heard. he now bounces around and shadowboxes. he is the 3 to 1 favorite over ali.

Now Muhammad Ali is now bouncing to the ring center accompanied by his trainer angelo dundee. ali is wearing a white robe and the crowd goes wild when they see him. ali climbs in the ring, bounces up and down. both men now take off their robes and their respective trainers are putting on their gloves. it is a very tense moment as now michael buffer is seen.

Michael Buffer: Ladiiiiies and geeentlemeeen, welcooome to the houston Astrodome for this secound round playoff. introducing, from houston, texas, wearing red trunks with blue trim, he stands six fot four, he weighs two hundred twenty-seven pounds, "biiiiig" geooorge foooremaan!(a few cheers could be heard among the fans) and his opponent, also from houston, he's wearing white trunks with black trim, he stands six feet three, he weighs two hundred eleven pounds, he is the greatest, muhaamaaaaaaaaaad aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiii!!(95,000 people scream hysterically)

here is the referee mark conn giving the instructions.

conn: alright boys, you know the rules of the texas state athletic boxing commision. i want a good clean fight, remember to protect yourself at all times, any questions? ok, good luck.

Round 1: Both men come out, and ali dances. ali is using the large ring to his advantage, foreman tries to cut ali off and he lands some good body shots on the clinches and on the ropes. foreman uses his jab, but ali pulls from most of them. ali is moving well, boxing sharply. ali is now getting some good combos together and foreman is going to the body when he can and throwing his big bombs.

Round 2: Foreman is still patient and is cutting off the ring, and ali is on his toes and puts good punches together. they clinch and foreman does some body work to weaken and slow ali down. foreman then pushes ali away. ali uses his jab and straight right well. foremanget ali on the ropes and lands some good head and body shots. ali continues to out box foreman in ring center as foreman throws big shots but misses.

Round 3: Foreman comes out and throws huge punches that ali is able to avoid. foreman keeps on ali throwing alot of punches trying to get to ali, and ali is able to avoid most of them. ali does well in boxing, but foreman closes the gap and he is landing good shots that ali takes. ali uses his jab and scores some points of his own as the round ends.

Round 4: Ali keeps moving and grooving, and foreman throws big punches. somehow, foreman gets ali up against the ropes and pummels him, landing crisp, clean body and head blows, that stun ali. when they separate, ali attemps to stay away, but those shots took their toll and he is a bit slower. it's foreman all the way as he lands huge shots and ali is helpless.

Round 5: Foreman is a bit tired from the last round and ali seems to have recovered, becasue he is now fast on his feet and is fighting from the periphery well. foreman still lands some good shots, but foreman is now missing wild shots due to his decreased accuracy by way of fatique. still he fights on landing some body blows. ali uses his jab well and counterpunches george. ali now is looking better as george tires trying to catch the elusive ali.

Round 6: Ali is now flatfooted to get extra power and plus he is confident that foreman has lost some of his fire-power. ali jabs foreman and foreman is missing most of his blows. ali capitalizes by landing crisp combinations. ali now does his shuffle followed by a good stiff five-punch combination. george is momentarily stunned but keep coming and follows ali throwing big shots but he misses them all. ali is looking much better as this seems to be a coasting round for ali.

Round 7: Foreman is dead tired of chasing after ali and throwing the amount of puunches that he did. ali jabs and jabs and looks for an opening for the attack. foreman hits ali with a right hand, but foreman's power has greatly diminished because of the lack of stamina. foreman was eleven pounds heavier than in the last fight. foreman get s more tired and tired and ali decides to carry the attack. ali throws a one-two that stuns george and ali follows it up with left and right hooks to the jaw and then a textbook over hand right that numbs foreman and foreman stumbles and stumbles and finally goes down! foreman tries to beat the count, but he collapses in exhaustion and the fight is over!

buffer: the winner by a knockout at 2:13 of the seventh round, Muhammaaaaaad Aaaaaaaaaliiiiiiiiiiiiii!!(the crowd is well pleased)

Ali: I'm so great I don't have a mark on my face, and i upset george foreman, and i just turned 25 years old. I must be the greatest!

Well, there you have it. Ali evened the series at a game a piece. now lets go over to Detroit.

          Joe Louis

Mike tyson is coming into the ring wearing no robe. he is accompanied by kevin rooney and he looks prepared as the crowd boos him. now louis comes into the ring wearing a black robe, and the crowd is estatic. louis is accompanied by his long-time trainer jack blackburn. both are into the ring and they are warming up as michael buffer gives the announcement.

michael buffer: Ladies and gentlemen, presenting 15 rounds of boxing, lllllets get reaaady to ruumbllllllllle. introducing, from catskill, new york, he's wearing black trunks, he stands five feet eleven, he weighe two twenty, miiiiiiike tyyyyyysonnnnnnnn!(boos could be heard, and cheers for louis as he is being announced)and his opponent, from detroit, michigan, he's wearing black trunks with white trim, he stands six feet two, he weighs two hundred and eight pounds, jooooooeee loouissssss!

conn: alright, now i want a good clean fight. protect yoursef at all times. three knockdown rule is waived, so is the standing 8-count, go to a neutral corner upon scoring a KD, break when i tell you to break. a fighter will not be saved by the bell when knocked down, except for the final round. ok? shake hands.(tyson put his stare on louis, and louis just stood there and held out five fingers to symbolize five rounds!)

Round 1: Tyson comes out bobbing and weaving and louis uses his defense to avoid tyson's shots. tyson lands some good shots which louis takes. louis answers with his own shots. tyson lunges in and louis brilliantly side-steps him and counters with a right hand. tyson is a little more cautious, picking his shots carefully. louis jabs and jabs. tyson fights a cautious fight until the bell rings.

Round 2: Tyson comes out and tries to box louis. louis jabs and lands an overhand right. louis then jabs and lunges in with a left hook and tyson weaves out of the way and counters with an uppercut that stuns louis, but louis quickly shakes off the effect. tyson becomes more agressive trying to finish louis off. louis capitalizes and parries the blows and counters with a fast combination that momentarily stuns tyson.

Round 3: Tyson now comes out throwing a huge shot that lands on louis' head, louis is now wobblylegged and tyson moves in to finish. tyson left hook is blocked completely, and louis manages to survive and then carry the attack by throwing a left and then a big right hand. tyson is taking all these punches however. tyson then gets under louis jab and upercuts him again, but louis some how takes the punches. louis looks good and tyson is more cautious now as louis uses his jab well that sets up his right hand.

Round 4: Louis is now landing his jab well, and he and tyson exchange. both men got some good shots in and louis presses on. tyson is throwing some wild shots athat louis avoids. louis lands a jab and then a vicious right hand that stuns tyson. louis then follows up getting combination after combination. louis hits tyson with about 20 unanswered shots, but tyson still takes the punches. louis works tyson's body and head until the round ends.

Round 5: Louis continues as tyson is worried. louis lands some more right hands and tyson is weakened. tyson throws one more big shot and it grazes louis' jaw, and louis takes it and lands some great power punches and after about thirty or so punches, tyson is down! tyson tries to beat the count, but he can't. the fight os over. joe louis even's the series up!

buffer: The winner at 2:20 of the fifth round by a knockout, Jooooe Louiissss!(the crowd is well pleased)

so louis now evens the series up. what will happen next? find out next time. The final scores are Part1-ali ko8 and Part2-louis ko5. This is butterfly1964 saying good day!

Hi, and Welcome to Boston Garden in Boston, MA, for the first meeting between Rocky Marciano and Sonny Liston in the eastern Conference. Rocky was 190 today and liston was 211. both fighters are in great shape. lets see the tale of the tape.

            Rocky Marciano

            age: 30
            height: 5'-11"
            weight: 185
            reach: 67"
            record: 45-0-0 (40ko)

            Sonny Liston

            age: 28
            height: 6'-1"
            weight: 211
            reach: 84"
            record: 28-1-0 (18ko)

On paper it looks like liston has the advantage, but rocky is the 2 to 1 betting favorite.

Now Liston makes his way to the ring, and a few boos could be heard, while he walks down the aisle accompanied by his trainer Willie Reddish. and Marciano comes in and 65,000 fans show their appreciation for the Brockton Blockbuster. Rocky is accompanied by his long time trainer, Charlie Goldman. now here is michael buffer.

michael buffer: Laddies and gentlemen, introducing from Philadelphi, PA wearing black trunks with white trim, he stands six feet one, weighing 211, The Big Bear, Charrles Sonny Liston! Liston! and his opponent, from brockton, MA wearing white trunks with black trim, standing five eleven, weighing one hundred ninety pounds, The Brockton Blockbusteeeeeeer Roooockyyyyyyyy Maaaarrcianooooooooooo!!! Marcianooooooooooooo!!(the crowd applaudes rocky) 15 rounds!

conn: protect yourself at all times. in the event of a knockdown, i want you to go to the farhtest neutral corner until I tell you to come out. three knockdown rule is waived. any questions? ok, shake hands.

can marciano break down liston and knock him out, or can liston keep marciano away from him. this has to end in a knockout one way or the other. liston puts his bone-chilling stare on marciano, but rocky is not affected by it, for he has great courage.

Round 1: marciano is in his croutch, and he tries to press the fight, but liston keeps him away with his jab. liston lands his straight right well, and marciano manages to get a goog suzieq in that liston takes. liston is jabbing and jabbing and throwing the occasional straight right and marciano is taking the punches. they clinch, and liston uses his superior strength to push marciano off. liston the lands a solid right hand and marciano is down! marciano is up at two, and liston comes after them and they both trade blows and all of a sudden marciano is down again! marciano gets up and gets knocked down three more times, the last time he is up at nine. liston moves in to finish with a left lead, a right cross and a left hook and marciano is down for the sixth time in this round. marciano doesn't beat the count. the fight is over, sonny liston shoks massachusetts as he performs a one-rond demolition of Rocky Marciano.

michel buffer: The winner by a knockout at 2:45 of the first round, Sonny Lisston!

The crowd quickly files out of the stadium in dissapointment. In Liston's corner, there is jubilation! In Marciano's corner there is consolation.

liston: I knew once i had the little guy down the first tiem, that i had it in the bag.

marciano: he's a very tugh opponent, but i'm sure i will still make it a good series.

well, that was entertaining! dempsey destoys johnson, and now liston destroys even more marciano! can johnson and the rock bounce back? find right here on "NBA Playoffs + Boxing ="! now I will say good day, once again the final scores are, Part1-dempsey ko3, and Part2-liston ko1!

            PEACE!!
            wow your pretty biased

if you were gunna make Liston win because u like him better at least make it less obvious

1st round he was never even knocked down in hte first round

Plus IMO Marciano hit harder then liston, and even if you don't think so he would still get the better punches if they went toe-to-toe due to the fact that Marciano had KO power in either hand

Well, against Walcott in the first round, we can't exactly say that Marciano went down as a result of a slip now can we Rock?

I believe that was the second round though I can be wrong, and if you say it was the first it may well be. Though you can't say Marciano went down off a bad punch because that was Walcott's famous punch that put down Louis,Charles, and marciano.

Yeah, it was the first round, Rock...about a minute into the fight actually.

And yeah, that was an excellant left hook from Walcott, as he stepped & turned into with plenty of leverage and it landed flush right on Marciano's chin...It certainly looked like the more legitimate knockdown of the two Marciano suffered, that's for sure.

Even so the chances of Liston KO'ing Marciano in the first round are very slim, granted Marciano is a slow starter he still had and Iron Chin, Stamina, and A truck load of heart. The chances that somebody could KO him in the first round is slim to non.

Also IMO Marciano had a harder punch then liston, look what Marciano did to guys compared to what liston did too guys, and the question of competition isn't even there because it was practically the same era. Also the fact is Liston's suspected of having many of his fights fixed, Not that i believe that but many people don't take him seriously.

Even so for the Ali fans who say Liston hit harder, in the end Marciano still had KO Power in either hand so the fact is in a toe-to-toe stand off Marciano would be more likely to come out on top. Toe-to-Toe Liston would be throwing a good punch then a strong punch (Jab which was good, and cross which was stronger) and Marciano would be throwing to strong punches.

Thats just why i feel the close thing was false.

lol louis would take less than 30 punches to put sumone down trust me, and if there were 30 or so unanswered punches in one fight the ref would for sure stop the fight

oh and marciano would go down in the first round with tyson thats for sure, outta dempsy, frazier and tyson he is without a doubt the slowest starter, its funny though, u know whos gonna win, marciano has no chance with sumone like butterfly controlling the fights, hell i simmed marciano vs. liston in fight night round 2, and guess what, liston ko by the 2nd with rockys famous 1 2 combo, left jab right cross!! lol, u guys r so quick to jump on him for showing his biasedness, i luv it!
