Central nervous system..
You know how in video games you have a bar of life on the bottom of the screen? CNS is kind of like the real version if that.
It's kind of like the software of your body. And if you over push it (drugs, lack of sleep, steroids, disease, medication, overwork it t the gym, etc etc,) it will deteriorate.
It's why as fighters get older making weight becomes older. Extreme weight gain/loss is def bad for the CNS.Comment

Jones is an example a lot of people are picking, can't fault that.
How about Bowe? I know he was always a bit up and down in his career in terms of physique and performances but the drop off from the first Holyfield fight onwards was so sudden and by the mid 90s, he was done as a top heavyweight.
I could probably mention Frazier too, beating Ali seemed to be his great achievement and after that, he didn't really beat anyone of note. Got destroyed by Foreman and although he gave Ali hell at times, he essentially took a beating for 14 rounds. It wasn't even as if he had a busy schedule or anything.Comment

Berto. Went from the next mayweather to constant losses.
Dawson. Lost to pascal never seemed the same mentally afterwards
Whitaker after the 154 title he won he seemed to slow down rapidly
Vargas- to many tough fighters vs to many good fighters to soon.
Pwill- he seemed to slow down after the first Martinez fight then the knock out came and he just wasn't the same.
Tavours cloud- I almost forgot he existed lolComment

Roy jones by far,,, went from being p4p #1 and possible GOAT after ruiz fight, to becoming a punching bag ever fight after.. Incredible drop off, unlike a tyson where it was more gradual and the declined had over many years..
Jermain taylor and jeff lacy both never recovered again after pavlik n calzaghe..
Bute see,s to be completely done after the froch fightComment
