Roy jones by far,,, went from being p4p #1 and possible GOAT after ruiz fight, to becoming a punching bag ever fight after.. Incredible drop off, unlike a tyson where it was more gradual and the declined had over many years..
Jermain taylor and jeff lacy both never recovered again after pavlik n calzaghe..
Bute see,s to be completely done after the froch fight
Yeah Jones. Didn't know Martinez was that athletic. I think his decline had more to do with age and his knee injury. Gerry Cooney was never the same after losing to Holmes and not only declined, but lost whenever he really stepped up.

yep, going up in weight so much and than dropping so much destroyed his CNS. His body never recovered.
Same thing happened when Tarvar went up in weight for Rocky and came back down. Bhop knew the weight loss would break his CNS, and took him apart that fight.

Yeah too bad. I really liked Paul Williams too. He was set to have one more payday before retiring when that car accident paralyzed him. He said in post fight interviews he saved most of his money, so he's probably doing okay financially now.
You know how in video games you have a bar of life on the bottom of the screen? CNS is kind of like the real version if that.
It's kind of like the software of your body. And if you over push it (drugs, lack of sleep, steroids, disease, medication, overwork it t the gym, etc etc,) it will deteriorate.
It's why as fighters get older making weight becomes older. Extreme weight gain/loss is def bad for the CNS.

I am amazed at how fast things get off topic here.
Fernando Vargas, Ike Quartey, Rid**** Bowe, Michael Moorer, Pernell Whitaker, Naseem Hamed, John Mugabi, Terry Norris, Jeff Lacy, and a lot more I can probably think of.
