I am starting to think I have Roy ahead of Floyd (careerwise).

        You could defintely argue that.

The only thing Floyd had that Roy doesn't is longevity.

But Roy was still world champion and practically undefeated for 10 years. That's not too bad longevity.

In my eyes you can't go wrong with any of these 3. They're certainly 3 of the "best" of my lifetime.

Yup, and if anyone ever convincingly avenged a loss, it was Roy.

What might make me give the edge to Floyd is that he did adapt his style to his later years, but I don't know.

As you say. You can't go wrong. Even thinking about these guys fighting is a pleasure!

            Sweet Pea........

Sweet Pea was better than Floyd and Roy Jones. HE is a top 5, top 10 ATG, hands down. He is also the greatest defensive fighter of all-time. He didn't actually lose a fight until he was OLD and 33 years of age, against a PRIME Tito Trinidad. I also thought he edged out Oscar with the legit knock down in the 8th round. His experience also played a factor against Oscar. I already know what the majority of you on here will say but I don't care. One thing I hate about Americans is how they get off on HYPE and FLASH. They believe that quantity is worth more than quality. Smh. Roy and Floyd are both overrated and were protected for a long period of time. Roy did a lot of ducking and we all know what Floyd did. And now his entire career is in question with his failed drug tests and IV usage. I'll take Pea over either any day of any week. The end.

That the majority would take Roy or Floyd over Whitaker. That assumption is a common sense one as it pertains to this site. Everyone overrates Roy and Floyd on here. I don't. I know who they are and I know who Whitaker was as well.

Why don't you actually read the responses here instead of making your usual false and very ****** comments?

He was actually 35 when he lost to Trinidad. For somebody who claims to know so much about Whitaker you're off to a bad start.

It seems to me by reading this thread that most people have these guys quite close (I certainly do) and Pea is being treated fairly. No one is suggesting the JC fights is anything else than Pea dominating. No one is holding the Tito fight against Pea... etc.

It is hard to not notice that Pea lacks the longevity the other two have had, and that it is his fault.
