Anyone who can't see the skill of a LaMotta isn't a very knowledgeable evaluator. Just because a man works out of a crouch and bends in the waist
doesn't mean he is skilless it's just another form and style. Theres balance to be considered when low and always distance and cutting the ring down to trap.
LaMotta was the Middleweight Champion and a feared fighter by all contenders except Robinson. He deafeated Robinson by points in one of five match ups. LaMotta put combos together very effectively and had an outstanding chin and endurance.
LaMotta vs Floyd would be feeding steaks to Lions, in this case Bulls!
LaMotta rehydrated from 160 to 175 in 15 hours! Floyds punches would do NOTHING to LaMotta!
Why don't novice fans research past greats before they spew garbage?
As for Jones vs Robinson at 168, it could be a good match because of Jones speed but thats all he has equal to Robinson. Jones is a top twenty lightheavy, Robinson is the best from 140 to 160. I'll take Sugarman.
