IMO Jones jr was quite a lot faster then Robinson and has all the physical advantages at the weight except chin but Jones extreme reflexes would negate Robinson's chin advantage, 168lbs Jones wins no doubt in my mind. At WW & MW Robinson matches up well with anyone, 168-175lbs A LOT of fighters IMO would beat him. Jones, Toney, Ward, Calzaghe to name a few. People will laugh at Calzaghe but he had a great engine, very fast, good chin and an adaptable fighter.
LaMotta would kill Mayweather. He would not even feel those feather fists. Jake had a top two or three all time chin.
And, no, he never fought at 154. It was all he could do to make 160.
Jughead is in dreamland if he thinks he ever won an argument around here or made a point that was not its own refutation. Let me put it this way, he does not understand boxing and is not a trained athlete. What could be more obvious than that he is clueless about that which he pretends to actually know something? First, he said Lamotta was 5'3", then he got it up to 5'6", now it is finally up to 5'8". He may have gone back and changed the posts a la Joesph Stalin rewriting history.
The point is, shut up and listen if you don't know anything. You are not going to be a dictator here, son.

Jughead is fine he is announced at 155 no nit picked fights will change that "SON"
Maybe you can invent a time machine and go correct or bribe the ring announcer to address Lamotta as 160 or so instead of155,you can change history yourself

Why not against Ali??? If a welter/middleweight is placed 1 and 2 classes above his competitive weight class why not go up to heavy?
Lets take Wlad and bring him down to 160 lets put him at 6'1" and he maintains his skill level. Does he beat Robinson?
Personally I'll take Robinson over most lightheavies, he will need to decsion because his punch will not translate to an extra 15 to 25 pounds.
Skill wise and experience wise theres NO ONE at his level.
Roy Jones at 160 gets beat and all he'll have is speed but his speed will be for "flash punches" not using speed as power, he never did that!
Guys like Calzaghe at 160 would take some rounds but would be tko by Robinson. Calzaghe simply has nothing to over come Robinsons talents.
Then theres this thing called hunger and determination, sorry no one today shows that like he did.
Lamotta was skilled ...he was also 5'6 and not nearly or remotely on either floyds or Jones skill level or stature.Being 5'6 or so really doesn't hold his chances with a speedster like either.Put those little gloves on Floyd and Lamottas chances are even further down graded due to increase punching speed.Middle weight was how much in his day?Lets be real here its a terrible match up for him against Floyd who is elusive/bigger and more skilled in about everything,he is no Pacman he is wild and easy to read.Spew garbage Ray? At least you lessoned the meds today....then again you mysteriously brought up WEIGHT the one thing you insist does not factor anything in boxing,i guess when the argument only suits you??????

Ray
Wlad is a bigger version of a Louis style fighter ,boxing mechanics change at lighter weight classes whos to say who beats who ? If wlad fights in smaller weight divisions they hit less hard and it would give him even more speed ,everyone seems to be in denial how really fast he is .Reverse things and put Robinson at 6'6 250 ,ibet he gets k.od because Wlad has better defense and we do not know how fast Robinson would be.Fighting more aggressively isnt always fighting smarter todays fighters are more prepared due to longer training camps.Everything is just speculation you cannot say this guy beats that guy in different weight classes as stated no other division than the Heavyweight division changes the fight mechanics so drastically .
I would expect a boxing expert would know that..."RAY"!
