Some real zingers in that thread.
Take Ali from 65 after Liston up to '71. Who did he beat?

Was it the best Wlad? No. But it's ridiculous to say he wasn't in his prime at 30 years old with more than 40 pro fights.
Extremely ridiculous.
He's not prime anymore, let's get real. He's just extremely good still and better than the rest.

I would fancy a few fighters on Wlad's resume to give Lewis a decent fight. Corrie Sanders the 6ft 5ins power-punching southpaw for one.
Who did Corrie Sanders ever beat besides Wlad?
Undefeated in this era doesn't mean much. Mariusz Wach and Francesco Pianeta were undefeated too.Last edited by KnockoutNed; 03-23-2015, 04:44 AM.

The rest of your post is not factual but your own opinions. You doubt this and doubt that etc. When the bottom line is Lewis was stripped of every version of the Heavyweight Championship for refusing to fight the No1 contenders. WBA for refusing to fight John Ruiz, IBF for refusing to fight Chris Byrd and WBC for refusing to fight Vitali Klitschko... Those boxers had fought their way to be No1 contenders of their profession. Lewis had an obligation as champion to fight them. But he chose not to because they posed a huge risk. Lewis chose hand-picked tomato cans instead.Jesus you are sailing.
It is factual. Wlad did get knocked out and nobody called for Lewis to fight Sanders. Those are facts.
You are rewriting history to a disgusting extent. but I know you're just butthurt about Tyson still.
It's ok. It's more than a decade ago. get over it.

Muhammad Ali was banned from the sport of boxing from 1967-1970 But his opponents whom he fought and beat in the period you mention, would almost certainly befar too good for any version of Lennox Lewis.
1965 Floyd Patterson
1966 George Chuvalo
1966 Henry Cooper
1966 Cleveland Williams
1966 Karl Mildenberger
1967 Ernie Terrell
1967 Zora Foley
1970 Jerry Quarry
1970 Oscar Bonavena
I would fancy everyone of the above fighters to beat Lennox Lewis. if Rahman & McCall can put Lewis lights out, Then these guys would smash his lamp into a million pieces. These are a different breed and class of fighter, than anything Lewis ever fought.
