    Tito? Oscar?

The only ones you can argue there are Pacquaio, Holyfield and Hopkins.

No idea why you're going back. Last 20 years you said now you're having to go before then to find people who have better resumes
Tyson has Holyfield and Lewis on there, even though he lost to them I said resume. His wins, although not against those two ATGs, were against very good to truly top level opposition. But he didn't just beat this guys, he swatted them away like flies in most instances. RJJ, in most instances, went 12 rounds with borderline challengers and chatted BS about not being motivated lol.

Heck I could add in JMM, Barrera and MOrales as having better resumes and/or better performances and/or better, more exciting wins...or a combination of all 3 compared to RJJ.

You don't think Oscar has a better resume then RJJ? Man I knew you were a fan boy but I didn't know you were this deluded lol damn. And you try and come across as a fight fan, you're simply a fighter fan.

Well yeah if you count fights they lost but why would you do that?

Oh yeah, thinking Roy Jones has a better resume than Oscar is delusional

      Barrera and Marquez? Really?

Roy Jones knocked out loads of fighters, good, top ranked ones. And what does that even matter anyway? What does that mean in regards to resume. And Mike Tyson's resume is no where near as good as Roy Jones'. No where near.

Ok so now I'm a "fanboy" of Roy Jones aswell? Grow up.

              • Roy ranks top 30 for me. A number of guys have stronger resumes than him. That being said there is enough evidence out there for me to say he would be competitive with anybody 160-175.

Yeah....I cosign on that. Roy had two of the most prized gifts any fighter could ask for: Speed and power. Sometimes I think his unorthodox ways collectively worked for him a la james Toney, and other times I think they worked against him a la Tarver where he thought his feints and fear of reprisal would keep Antonio (and others off him)...Roy often hung his head down low at these times, threw a head feint and would attack....I don't buy the refrain that he was past it...I think Tarver just was so pissed he didn't go for the feint, when Roy lifted his head from drooping and just stepped back a little....Wham!!

What this tells me is that if he fought against technically superior fighters like Burley, Robinson, etc... he would have the natural proclivities to be hell for them but his bad habits would get him doused and good!! I give him all the credit in the world for taking Hopkins to school and dismantling Toney.

looking at that Toney fight, James really had trouble setting up for Roy because of the feints, speed and unorthodox timing of Roy.

                  • What a lot of people overlook is that Roy was a great counter-puncher. You can see that in his fight against Virgil Hill. Look how he times Hill's jab.

Roy's dad taught him tecnique but many times Roy could and did just blow by the other guy.
