Lets keep going so I can make some more of your innanities transparent.
Exposure and transparency. let me repeat that:
You used Hide as an example of fighters Lewis ducked who you claimed were exceptional when compared to fighters like Ruddock, Holyfield, Golata... Wasn't that neat how I used even more fighters that Lewis fought? You thought that Sanders, Byrd and Ruiz along with Hide were of a distinctly higher calibre than some of these opponents Lewis fought....remember?

Sanders was looking for a fight with Lewis throughout the 1990s. Lewis boasted, "One brother for breakfast, the other brother for Tea".. yet after Vitali wanted no part of Wlad, Larry Holmes offered to fight Lewis in 1993/94 you can read the details in Holmes Autobiography, "Against the Odds".
After Moorer had beaten Holyfield, he himself chose to fight Foreman over Lewis because he'd get more money.
Yeah, Sanders may have been looking for it.How about beating a ranked opponent first? He was Lewis' sparring partner too. A mismatch of proportions and it was never going to be allowed on HBO. In your fantasy world, maybe, but not in reality.
Larry Holmes might also have 'offered' the fight to Lewis. So what? he wasn't relevant. He'd already lost to Holyfield and Lewis was looking for a title shot with Bowe and then subsequently lost to McCall.
Lol at the last part with Vitali. Let's forget that Lewis was talking retirement when he'd beaten Rahman in the second fight. He said all he had left was beating Tyson. He could have easily retired after that fight as a great heavyweight, yet offered a fight to Vitali twice after a second Tyson fight fell through.
International TV rights couldn't be agreed therefore Vitali didn't accept the fight until it was offered on two weeks notice. Wlad would have gotten that fight had he not been brutally destroyed by Lewis' sparring partner in two rounds - but I'm sure Vitali's effort in a defeat scared Lewis so much he didn't even want to fight what was considered the weaker brother by that point. More talented maybe, but weaker.
Anyways..

Now you can come back with a legitimate answer instead of trolling like usual.
I'm not a hardcore Lewis fan at all, but I did like him.
