Yeah Golota for me too. And I remember Bert Sugar saying Sandy Saddler and Willie Pep fouled the hell out of each other every time they fought.

I'm going to make a shout out to former featherweight champion Eusebio Pedroza. He was even dirtier than Holyfield.

I can think of a whole lot dirtier than Holyfield. Who did he beat that you are still mad about.

Yeah Holyfield's butting was pretty bad at times but far from dirtiest.

And like Tyson and George can talk. George used to shove and push his opponents as much as belt them.

And Tyson whinging about someone else being "rough" is laughable

Gamesmenship boys just a little gamesmanship!

Holyfield knew what to do with Tyson and he did it, just an old fashion tough fight!
You see the fighting in a boxers style has been eliminated slowly over the years. Now its a tag game like amateur boxing is supposed be. Theres almost no trainers left who know techniques to fight inside or how tie up with one hand and work the other (perfectly legal)
The pro trainers today are from the amateur ranks and the fighters today have a hundred or hundreds of amateur matches. It all lends to the inside rough them up game being eliminated. That's how boxers like Mayweather can survive, the Robert Gurerro's and Canelo's who look like their hard core pressure fighters really aren't!! They don't get inside enough and when their there they don't know how to work. Maidana has limited skills but his pressure alone bothers Floyd and that chopping right hand better be there again to open up more avenues or he'll get beat up this time around.

Evander Holyfield came out of the lightheavies to crusiers and heavies and was an outstanding performer for a long time too! He whipped the then invincible Tyson to the point that he made Tyson quit by being DQ'ed!!!
He could box very well and he could fight too, very few can combine both skills.
Sugar Ray Robinson is the mold every fighter wishes he could develop into.
            Ray

It's not exactly hard to find on youtube. Just type in Holyfield elbow and headbutt and stuff would come up.

And some people are using high school debating tactics on this forum. Yeah the guy he was facing is a dirty fighter too and that somehow makes Holyfield less dirty? Was Golota not a cheating POS against Bowe just because Bowe had a history of fouls himself? Two wrongs don't make a right, Evander was damn near sadistic when it came to his tactics(he would stare at the wounds he created with his head and make it worse according to opponents). I've seen his entire career several times and he's still one of my favorites but you cannot overlook the headbutts, low blows, elbows. And you want to complain about him getting bitten, Guess what? Evander did that first in the amateurs. Google the story about the guy he bit in the ams out of frustration.
