Finally agree with Adam, Barrera was better, resumes are close but Barrera had a better all round game and knew how to fight going back. Morales struggled when he was pressured, which was rare tbh lol

But a faded , war-torn , one-eyed el terible gave Marcos maidana a close fight

Barrera has the better toolset to deal with Morales, sure. Morales still beat a better variety of fighter

I've no problem ranking Hopkins over Mayweather. His achievements are insane and his resume is excellent. But so is Mayweather's.

No, I would rank Floyd higher.. Dude is amazing, and beat all sorts of fighters over many different divisions.. Hopkins I felt was great vs punchers like Tito pavlik, etc but he has no wins over any top level boxer.. Wide loss to jones, and beaten by Taylor, calzaghe, Dawson.. I know Hopkins was old for those, but if you look at his resume, he doesn't have any wins over a skilled boxer unless you count the winky and oscar fights but Hopkins had a clear size advantage in both..
Floyd from 130-140 was a boxing savant and better than Hopkins IMO
