Leading up the Barrera fight up had looked like **** in many a fight, buttes had always managed to pull out the KO victory. Until MAB destroyed him.

Naz never learnt to use the physical gifts he was born with properly and so was schooled by the best fighter he ever faced. And he would have been schooled by Fenech too.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda, Naz probably stops Fenech.

But look, we can only rnak guys on what we see and what they did and Naz has better accomplishments, is quicker and hits harder. no argument can be made fenech being better. its just ignorant to think so.

in terms of the MAB yeah he won but it was hardly a destruction, most of the rounds were a disgrace, both men averaging some 30 punches per round, especially the first 6, hardly a destruction.

i dunno where this myth of a destruction has come from, reminds me of all these "fans" who say jmm beat john.

You like most people give Pernell Whitaker credit for fights he didn't win. his actually resume just isn't that great? His best win is Julio Cesar Vasquez

No arguement can be made that Fenech is better? Really! 3 weight world champion. Robbed of the title in a 4th divison with a bull**** draw. Do these accomplishments really pale in comparison to Hameds?

Not of the last 30 years. No I don't think he fits,, maybe in five years when the timeline is 1989-2019.... If he has success at feather and possibly higher, then he will be on future lists..

To me donaire is similar to oscar from 94-96.. They dominated in lower weight classes when they always had a huge size advantage.. They both have beaten quality fighters, but they were always possessing physical advantages.. Oscar went up and fought same size or bigger guys at welter and jr mid,,, I want to see donaire at feather and 130 vs guys his own size... That's my only reservations about donaire...

I'm glad to see so many different posts and view points on this thread... Interesting discussion..

As to how to rate Jeff fenech, I think no doubt he should be on the list, but I also think it shouldn't cost naz a spot on it,,, I think they both should be on it with fenech being so where between 35-45 and naz being 45-50

Remember when fenech was training Tyson? That was a thankless job
