yall musta by now seen the legendary nights footage of pryor tryna get consideration for a fight with leonard at a press conference, I thnk that right there shows that pryor wanted a leonard fight but what usually happens when mgmt. talks is they offer some kinda small purse and then tell someone that the guy offered the chump cut don't want the fight. hell every body wanted leonard with the money he could pull but not if u had to take a sht split. as for arguello, his prime imo is at 130 when he cleaned out a division full of bad mfs, boza Edwards, limon, navarette, etc

Watch both Pryor - Arguello fights, Pryor stole Arguello Heart & his Will to be able to have beaten Pryor, in the 1st fight Arguello is full of both, but after hitting Pryor with everything, including the Kitchen sink, he wouldnt even go down, when D. Johnson & a past his prime cervantes without a lot of power put him down, so yes by the 2nd fight, Arguello did not have the heart, will of belief he had in the 1st fight, to beat Pryor, because Panama Lewis cheated him out of it all & a Title, you would realize that if you had watched both fights closely.

I watched all of Pryor's fights but 1 in person dozens of his amateur fights, in the amat, he was physically more mature at that age than most his age, & he showed it in dominating early, in the Pros, he was susceptible to knockdowns & guys with even decent power, so his camp avoided Heavy punchers, which he never fought at JWW, at least a real full fledged JWW with power, they knew he most likely would be knocked out, I rate him top 5 or 2 or 22 JWW all time & he may have made the top 20 or 25 at LW all time, but again, big punching all time greats, most likely would have knocked him out.

pryor remind me of pac or vice versa. both had that horrible balance n looked like they b easy marks wide open for counter shots but they went against the best in their divisions n generally came out on top. another 140 champ kostya zoo seemed like he would just walk forward standing straight up with his hands at ribcage level n of course he went on to beat some of the best so I see what u sayin but I think its a different thing once u get in there with these guys. I would go with the judge the fighter by the results n not the method method. u know? nobody beat aaron until the very end and from wht I understand his eye went bad prior to the second arguello fight

So does Pryor have any good or decent wins? What are his best wins? I have Joe Louis, Gatti, some other guys with more fights and discs to go through before I get to his set.
