I actually think you are a decent poster but like sooooooo many here you have this older=better complex and it clouds every single opinion you have.

But really I can't take anybody seriously who actually believes that absolutely incredible dumb idea that Leonard a blown up welterweight, coming out of retirement, in his first fight at middleweight was more durable than Roy Jones Jr

LMAO 1st of all yes being bigger and stronger does have a lot to do with durability. Every fighter losses it at some point did Roy for some reason continues to fight and fight top 10 fighters.

Roy @ 160-168 would clown him. No chance Haggler wins. Roy's speed & power at those weights were uncanny.

Shame his chin and punch resistance wasn't.

I love Hagler as much as the next guy but Roy Jones Jnr was SO Fast and also the bigger man, back then Roy just wasnt getting Clipped AT ALL! Roy UD, he was a Puncher of high caliber back then too but he'd realise early on Hagler was there for the long haul and he'd settle for a points win and keep it as safety first as he could

Marvin would have some moments and would be the aggressor throughout but its a Jones Jnr win for me

Ok and Hagler lost to some guy named Bobby Watts. We are talking about them in their primes

Jones had the same chin through out his career. If it greatly declined it would of been after the G.Johnson ko

Off topic: Those early Hagler losses are highly questionable

Forget Watts, he lost to a guy named Charles who had similar attributes to Jones. You're right about primes though. The drop down from heavyweight took a lot out of him.

I dont know man, he seemed alot sturdier PRE - Ruiz

Even tho he didnt have to prove it often i seen enough to know his chin was ok.
After his HW adventure things changed, also his age comes into play, his decline had been slow and subtle before his return to the LHW vs Tarver but it was there if u looked close enough. His reflexes had dulled just enough that shots he'd have ridden in his prime connected more solidly and he didnt see shots coming he might have done before. Roy had an ok chin I Think anyway. Definitely not a Hagler-esque chin but not the glass he is packing today
