  • No one would even answer my question. They are afraid to. Makes them look ******. Who did this Vitaly beat? He beat no one and was beat up by a long in tooth Lewis. Hilarious.

Well, of course Obed Sullivan was an ATG. Herbie Hyde as well. Ed Mahone, what a fighter. Don't forget the great Danny Williams. Then there was Sam Peter who could barely beat Toney. Of course Gomez, Arreola and Johnson were stellar ATGs. Don't forget the loss to Byrd because his shoulder was sore.

He did not fight anybody. If he did a few times, he lost. He was not a great champion and not a great fighter.

      Harry Mathews 179lbs
      Roland Lastarza183lbs
      Don ****ell fat at 205lbs
37 yr old Louis a career high 213lbs
      38 yrs old Walcott196lbs
      39/41 yrs old Moore188lbs
      Pudgy Rex Layne193lbs
      High mileage Ezzard Charles185lbs
Not exactly a stellar resume either.
Vitali was not a great fighter.but he was a very good one,who knew how to use his physical attributes and with his size advantage 60lbs ,nearly 9 inches of height ,good power ,80 inch reach and top chin,he would be too much for Rocky.

      ps I''d pick Herbie Hide to beat;
      ****ell
      Mathews
      Lastarza
      Layne
And he would give those versions of the old champs a tough nights work.

      • Why do so many boxing forums have silly threads like this? Vitali K was 6'7 and 240/250. Marciano was a 5'10 180 pound guy. Why do some people act like they can't grasp there are weight classes for a reason. Marciano could be a small cruiser weight today. Marciano would never make it out of the first round against Wlad, Vitali, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, ect.

The subject IS Marciano and how he would fare against Vitali and one way to measure that is to compare their opposition and replaceVitali with Rocky and vice versa.
Another is to pit each man's opposition against each other, and I made an observation that Herbie Hide, whom Vitali relieved of his alphabet belt in emphatic style ,would do very well against the majority of Rocky's opponents.
YOU brought up Vitali's opposition and the quality of it!
Does that only apply ONE WAY?
Are we not permitted to examine Rocky's opposition?

Marciano was the greater fighter, the only name of consequence missing from his resume is Valdes.
There are quite a few missing from Vitali's
              Tyson
              Holyfield
              Tua
              Barrett
              Ruiz
              Oquendo
              Golota
              Brewster
              Valuev
              Povetkin
              Chagaev
              For example.
Now relax chill out, it's okay there are no booby traps for you here.
No boxers who changed their names to Islamic ones.
              Rahman Mustaphiano?
Oh Boy! You wouldn't be so keen on him then would you! LOL
