Rocky is great but he's too small to beat Vitali Klitschko who never lost more than three rounds to ANY fighter nor was he ever knocked down in his professional career. Vitali via TKO, around round seven. Vitali has 8" inches in height, about 65 pounds in weight and with about 13 " inches in reach on Marciano. And he knows how to use it. Plus he had better footwork. It's a mismatch.

Vits has the same style as Primo. Joe would chop him down. It's all very clear to see on film. Joe uses to many angles and his handsome and power would be nothing Vittles has ever seen before. These facts. Only blind crazy person say different.

Interesting is right. People under-estimate how badly punching down at a target takes the power right out of your shots --- not that Klitschko is an especially big hitter anyway, & Marciano had a great chin, but if anyone thinks the size disparity makes it all one way in Klitschko's favour, they should think again.

People also like to try their hand at criticising Marciano's opposition, but he has by far the edge when compared with Klitschko.

On the other hand, Klitschko does fight tall well, & even though I don't rate him nearly as highly as most people (he will always be over-rated to me), he has a strong case here. It would be interesting.

Well, Moore and Walcott were two hardest hitters Marciano fought, and both floored him. That was the hardest hitter Rocky meet. Neither hit in Vitaly's class. Vitali fight a few guys around 6 feet tall. The matches were blown outs. All you have to do is bend your keens a bit. Yes I think the size disparity is greatly in Klitschko's favor. Key word here is greatly.

Footwork and ring speed is another issue. If Vitali wanted too, Rocky could not catch up to him. This is a mis match. Now comes the time where someone compares a giant of 80 years ago to a world class super heavyweight. Vitali was never out boxed or lost more than three rounds in any fight. He was utterly dominant on the score cards. More so than any other heavyweight in history.


Rocky's chin will be tested often and early. Likely take out inside of 8 rounds, could be sooner.
