BS. Mayweather is a Camacho clone if I ever saw one: Take a pot-shot and run like ****. Even borrows Camacho's bad Village People wardrobe.

You talk like Floyd is unhittable: He's not. Nor is he "the most skilled fighter ever" as his brainwashed KoolAid drinkers claim. I would take Whitaker's technical and defensive skills over Floyd's any day.

I get that you don't like Mayweather. Nothing wrong with that. But comparing his style to Camacho's is not accurate at all. In fact, it's ridiculous. I never said Mayweather was "unhittable" or "the most skilled fighter ever". That's a straw argument that you can leave out of this. But some fighters don't get hit as much because of their defense. Mayweather is one of those fighters whether you like it or not. And it's not because "he runs". I used to hear (and still do) people say that about Whitaker and it's still just as inaccurate. At 130 Mayweather had the power to along with his speed and if you can find one video of him "pot shooting and running" there I'll wait here to see it.

:thinking9: Didn't I go over this before? 130 where he was fighting the likes of Manfredy? Hell, Camacho didn't run when he was facing Pazienza now did he? Watch how he started to fight when the competion became a little more dangerous.

BTW, Whitaker stood in the pocket, threw a high volume of punches, and STILL didn't get hit cleanly very often.....and that was against quality opponents.

Arguello is an ATG, but style make fights, and this one here is Mayweather's fight.

"Lesser" (than Arguello, which is not really an insult) fighters, like Sandy Saddler would have a muuuuuuuch better shot at beating Mayweather at 130.

It is not that Arguello would be humiliated or anything close to that. It is just that he would lose a decision against a guy who would cautiously use the right tools to do so, which he happens to have.

Have you seen Camacho fight? Seriously... I can't think of anything they do similar.

Arguello is an ATG, but style make fights, and this one here is Mayweather's fight.

I honestly think Saddler in a head to head will be a pain in the ass for just about anyone at 130. And I do agree with you that he will most likely KO Mayweather or outpoint him...Sandy's reach will be a big factor too.

But I have Sandy ranked ahead of Arguello anyway in my all time list.

The problem I have with Saddler in 130 matchups is that he could make 126 on fight night all through his career, and would be outsized by most 130ers. Mayweather in particular I doubt would have been able to make 130 on fight night.

One of Saddler's strong points was his ability to literally wrestle ppl, while elbowing, lacing them, poking them, yanking their arms, so I have a bit of a problem there.

Anyways the combination of power, awkwardness, and the fact that Saddler knew every trick in the book and then some, makes him a formidable foe for everyone.

Out of curiosity, do you rank Saddler above Arguello at 130, or p4p?

At 130 I believe Saddler is better...call me crazy but thats the way I see it. P4P I don't know honestly but I will lean towards Arguello. I have every difficulty picking most guys against Saddler, he was a tough customer.
