My ass. First off, Mayweather wouldn't fight him because Duran actually had a pulse. Second, I sugest you watch the Montreal fight REAL closely.....and BTW, Leonard would OWN Mayweather.

You can't really criticize Mayweather for cherry picking washed up fighters at SFW and LW. These are the weights he'd be fighting Arguello and Duran at.

Fair enough, the problem is the only one his opponents at that weight that I really rate highly is Castillo and in my mind the best Floyd can claim there is a split with him.

Mayweather's claim to best SFW of all time is just as strong as Duran's at LW. That said, Duran is competing against far better competition (B. Leonard and J. Gans).

Why can't you rate Corrales highly? Man has wins over Popo, Castillo, and Casamayor. I'm pretty sure he's going to make the HOF too.

I've never seen anything in Corrales' game that made me think he was all that and a bag of chips. He gets a lot of sympathy boosting for dying young. BTW, he wouldn't have a win over Castillo if the ref hadn't allowed him to get away with spitting his mouth piece out. I'm pretty sure Gatti and Ward are going to make the HOF too.....that doesn't make them great fighters.
