I agree that Tiger was a small LHW and over the hill, yet can we control who we beat for the title? Would Torres, the man Tiger beat for the title, had defeated Foster that night? I agree that Foster's title reign doesn't stack up to Moore', Spinks or even Saad Muhammad for that matter, but did he duck anyone in during his reign. Although Tiger was a washed up midget, he was still the Undisputed 175 pound champ and you fight who you can when you can for the title. Why do so many so-called experts claim Foster as a top 3 all time LHW? Excellent argument you bring up, though.

*****, in your humble opinion, where would you rate Foster all tyime among 175 pound greats. Would he have a legit shot against Spinks, Moore, Charles, RJJ, John Henry Lewis, Lloyd marshall and any of the other legendary 175 pound fighters? I would put these men above him all time in the division.

Undisputed ? so what ? there were 1-2 titles then ? undisputed is meant for the era of 2 titles and has a meaning for those who unify the titles or reign supreme for a long period , with his empty record only those who are blind and see only partial statistics / numbers can be impressed by his record.
Not only Michael Spinks and James Toney did better at HW , Michael Moorer also did much better there , Tomasz Adamek also , if Bob Foster deserves to be in the HOF then there are at least 50 more outside of it who deserve to be in.

Fighting Harada is greater than Lionel Rose , but let's review his record until the age of 24 , for no one will claim he was shot by then :
won 50 (KO 19) + lost 3 (KO 1) + drawn 0 = 53

Harada "avenged" his very decisive stoppage loss against Jose Medel , 5 years older than himself with a 15 rounds decision .
That decision came against a 29 years old Medel.
Where was Harada himself by the time he was 29 ? 2 years retired at home.
Both started at age 17 to remove doubts.
Medel a mere contender was better than Harada , a "great" champion.
Harada has 2 paper wins over Eder Jofre , a true great.
The thing is they came against a 29 and then a 30 years old Jofre , remember where was Harada by that age.
Harada was 8 years younger than Jofre .
Still he barely coasted to a split decision win , almost getting stopped by the older man.
In their second fight Harada used his head against the older man , just to keep the tradition of headbutts delivered by fighters with a last name beginning with H.
Still , Harada could not even knock his older opponent down.

Harada's entire record by the age of 27 :
won 55 (KO 22) + lost 7 (KO 2) + drawn 0 = 62

I already wrote what I think about his win* over Jose Medel. He outpointed Jofre when Jofre was 29 and then 30 , 7 years older than himself , thought it matters a lot in these weights especially . And why didn't you ask me what do I think about his win over Katsuo Saito ?
And besides , I did not claim Fighting Harada should be taken out of HOF , although it is not a bad idea . Alan Rudkin , Bernado Caraballo , Antonio Herrera and Katsutoshi Aoki ? what do you think about Harada's wins over them ? can you share it here ? Pone Kingpetch ? Harada caught him in the right time , after his prime ended. Not blaming him for being born 8 years later , nor it was a bad win , but not one of the most telling. Hiroyuki Ebihara ? a fine win over an inexperienced fighter.
A one trick pony fighter at that , according to such forum's standards.
Leonard whom is 2 years younger than Hagler is accused of fighting a past it Hagler , Lennox Lewis , 1 year older than Tyson may be rightfully accused of waiting for Tyson to age. Evander Holyfield had a shadow over his first reign because he never gained it from Tyson , he is 4 years older than Tyson , yet even today , when Holyfield starts getting his credit , his win over Tyson may rightfully be not considered a win over Tyson in his prime.
