Yes, I think so. He should definitely be in the old timers or pioneers section somewhere. Incredible fighter. Sad that we were never able to see him on footage like some other greats.

Another disturbing name , this time IBHOF : Bob Foster.
              Definitely undeserving .
If he deserves it then almost every past champion does.

                Let's hear it.
Fighting Harada is greater than Lionel Rose , but let's review his record until the age of 24 , for no one will claim he was shot by then :
                won 50 (KO 19) + lost 3 (KO 1) + drawn 0 = 53

Harada "avenged" his very decisive stoppage loss against Jose Medel , 5 years older than himself with a 15 rounds decision .
That decision came against a 29 years old Medel.
Where was Harada himself by the time he was 29 ? 2 years retired at home.
Both started at age 17 to remove doubts.
Medel a mere contender was better than Harada , a "great" champion.
Harada has 2 paper wins over Eder Jofre , a true great.
The thing is they came against a 29 and then a 30 years old Jofre , remember where was Harada by that age.
Harada was 8 years younger than Jofre .
Still he barely coasted to a split decision win , almost getting stopped by the older man.
In their second fight Harada used his head against the older man , just to keep the tradition of headbutts delivered by fighters with a last name beginning with H.
Still , Harada could not even knock his older opponent down.

Harada's entire record by the age of 27 :
                won 55 (KO 22) + lost 7 (KO 2) + drawn 0 = 62

Jose Torres is one. Actually there a lot of them.

No one would describe me as high on Bob Foster. To be perfectly honest before I saw this post I've yet to meet someone with a lower opinion of him than myself. But he absolutely deserves to make the HOF...if you take him out, you'd need to take out another 50 guys or so.

I just searched his record again , carefully , trying to find one respectable win I missed in the past . Failed again. Can you tell me about one win of his against a good opponent in his prime someone heard about ?
