Tyson was no more robbed against Douglas than Lewis was against McCall

    - - I would also add Cane missed the boat comparing Lewis/Rahman 1 with Tyson/Buster.

Lewis was not fighting like the Zombie of Tyson, wasn't taking a beating like Tyson, and in fact boxing well and carefully when one punched.

He beat the legit count clearly, but lurching his 250 lbs of dead meat into the ref ain't the type of indicator the ref is looking for to continue to fight.

The boxing media leadup was Mike fighting an easy blowout in Tokyo, because boxing, think Loony Teddy, they love to lie about fighters like Buster who was cursed with a prediabetic condition making him overweight. Thus a "quitter" in the Tucker bout where Buster went toe to toe vs Tucker in a great heavy fight until Buster was finally TKOed by the ref, hence the 50-1 odds because Buster was a "quitter."

The wider press documented numerous problems in camp with McCall and Page handling him like a kid with the backdrop him being on dangerous experimental psychotropic drugs after a documented suicide attempt in between his violent outbursts while dealing with Givens and her mother.

In spite of all his problems culminating in a zombie performance vs Buster, he reached way back into the soul of his being to KO Buster. The fight was over until it wasn't. Extended by the ref who in the tradition of a horrid number of refs in history, he completely botched this fight as bad as Tyson's new team did with an orchestrated no rematch arranged by King who was maneuvering to get his hands on Tyson's $50 mil retirement portfolio set up by Jimmy Jacobs and Cayton.
We found out years later that Tyson and Bobby Brown were ****ing women the night before the fight

          - - Cover for letting Tyson roast in the Big House resulting a 4 yr absence from boxing.

When Mike got out, he was $50 mil lighter than before he went in and was forced back into boxing to make a living.

Hey, we understand DKing as de****able as he was, he gonna attract his admirers like U. The way he recently defrauded Manuel Charr out of his WBA title the gold standard for legalized fraud.

What does any of this have to do with King trying to say Douglas should have been counted out, when it was clear to see he was fine and able to get up any time he wanted?

I've noticed you really like to take up for Tyson. You always have an excuse for him. I just find it a bit surprising you detest Wilder for beimg a "thug" but come running any time anyone doesnt speak positively of Tyson, who himself actually was a thug for much of his life before, during and after his boxing career. Im glad he straightened his life out, its just a curious double standard you have.

Yes - both got the same count --> you could see quite a difference between the two men when they rose. The ref was correct in not allowing Tyson to continue.

I see a similarly between the Douglas KD and the Walcott KO (second Marciano fight).

I feel the refree was trying to count Walcott out before he could regain his feet. It was as if the ref's count was in a foot race with Walcott.

The Douglas ref seemed more aware of the situation in front of him. It would have been a shame if he had quickened his count just to save Tyson's butt.

It looks to me (film wise) that Walcott was no more hurt from that KD than Douglas was four decades later.

                - - Translation; Douglas was fine and could get up at any time, so let's give him a slow count to make sure he gets extra recovery...only in boxing, folks!

Doesn't really matter what you think. A boxers job is to follow the refs count, Buster did that. And the count wasn't long either. Keep defending "thug" Tyson though.

                    - - U don't never think as proven repeatedly ad naseum.

Never, ever, once have I ever blamed Buster for this fight nor do I defend Tyson. More U problems with factual content.

The ref was either U level toooopid or paid off by King, but it matter little since he clearly botched the fight at that critical moment no matter the reasons.

How did he botch the fight? Please astonish us with your wisdom.

Oh, and youre the first one to defend Tyson for anything that went wrong in his career. It's funny you call Wilder a thug, but I don't remember one time you ever admonishing Tyson as a thug. Why is that?
