You don't know **** about boxing.
    US nostalgic stan...

Go on youtube, watch videos of Carnera and big bro Klit.

Carnera had no skills, and wasn't in shape.
You CAN'T say that about Vitali.

    • Billyboxing,

Morrison didn't ever fight 'that old Holmes'! Let alone beat him!

And Chad Dawson is good but Michael Spinks had 2 decision wins over a legitimate HW champion in Larry Holmes and then a stoppage win over a big SHW in Gerry Cooney . Do you think Dawson could have done the same if he was given these opportunities ? Dawson's first (and maybe second also) win over Glen Johnson is considered a bad decision .
dawson-johnson II was not even remotely close

I think Bad Chad probably could move up to HW and I wouldnt be surprised if after the Klitschko's leave, if he does. Also I dont know what that has to do with being the best LHW. Certain guys are more built to move up and down division. PWill is built to move up and down like crazy, but that doesnt mean he's as good as a Joe Calzaghe who dominated one weight class. Im never impressed by the mere fact of moving weight classes, what is more impressive is wins, lack of defeats, and beating quality guys who you dont match up well against. I truly believe that other than the Klitschko's bad chad has the skills right now to beat just about anyone.

          • Super middleweights are widely called simply middleweights, same as welters are often welter, without description when talking historically since a lot of these divisions didnt even exist 30 years ago.

Doug Jones didnt knock Ali, but rocked him and many said beat Ali pretty handily in their fight. ali didnt give him a rematch of course, because he was a coward. Jones was 171 lbs a year before he fought Ali, he moved up like 10 lbs to fight him...he would be considered a LHW.

Cooper was always in the 180's, maybe you could argue he'd be a Cruiser, more likely he'd have been a LHW.

Never thought about him moving up weight before and now you've mentioned it I'd actually like to see it, see how far he gets, the talent is definitely there to take him far if he does move up.

Michael Spinks dominated in an extremely strong LHW era, pretty much cleaned it out and went undefeated.

Calzaghe is SMW not MW and I've never seen someone call a SMW a MW before, his reign isn't that impressive when compared to Hagler's or Monzon's who stayed at MW and retired champion.

So you just exaggerated or lied? Fact is Ali was NEVER knocked down by a lightheavy and only down twice early in his career as a novice professional, right?
