Fairly new here, haven't visited forums much in over a decade. Pretty amazing, the outrageous things that people say here; as if being accurate or sensible are things that don't even matter. 1. Joe Frazier AND Mike Tyson were Hall of Fame level fighters. That is the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval for all-time greatness. 2. BOTH men showed excellent Chins. 3. Frazier may have had a slightly better chin between the two, and Tyson had more explisive condinations and about 10 pounds on Frazier; but what really seperated the two was a sizable difference in Heart. It took allot of "Circumstance" to bring it out, but Mike Tyson had a "give up" threshold that could be reached. Frazier didn't.

Correct me if needed, but by memory Foreman and Bonavena may have been the only fighters to put Joe on the canvas. That's quite a tribute to the fighters if true.

It's a bias some young people have. The bias is if it happened before they were born or started watching, to them it doesn't count. Like how most sci-fi doesn't exist before 1977 Star Wars, most good cartoons don't exist before the 80s (Looney Tunes anyone?) and yes most of the best fighters they care about because they were around to see them. If these dumbass whippersnappers don't wanna give these all time greats any respect, then they don't deserve ours either. Because these fighters will still be talked about and remembered after these fools are long gone and forgotten.

Frazier was knocked down 10 times.8 by Foreman the hardest punching heavyweight ever and 2 times by Bonevena who hit harder than Holyfield Douglas Williams or Mcbride.Frazier was only really stopped by Foreman.There is no shame in that.Tyson was stun by guys like James Tillis who couldnt punch at all.Could anybody explain this to me?

Got a hot newsflash for you, Junior. Foreman does that with ALL short-arm pressure fighters: Doesn't matter whether their names are "Frazier", "Marciano", or "Tyson". Foreman uses them all like basketballs. It's the worst boxing style matchup imaginable. PS. None of those "bangers" you mentioned Tyson fighting were on Foreman's level for punching power.
