Did Edwin Valero do enough to warrant IBHOF induction?

I know this might cause some controversy, but did Edwin Valero do enough in his career to warrant induction into the IBHOF? I'd like your thoughts.

          NO.

U have to judge each career by the same standards, and if he had retired with the same record, no way would he be considered a HOFer.

Why would there be any controversy?

The man never beat a single world class fighter. End of story.

              No.

As a Valero fan, I would say no. He didn't do enough. His kos are cool but he didn't beat an ATG or anyone of great significance.

I agree with your analysis, but Carlos Monzon was inducted after murdering his common law wife. Valero was not on his level, but murdering his wife didn't stop the IBHOF from inducting Monzon. A better question would be should murderers be allowed induction.

There's a decent number of dirtbags in the IBHOF.

It's what you do in the ring, and that would make it an obvious no. How many top fighters did Valero beat again?

This. The guy beat a couple of decent opponents and little else.
