Lewis had a good chin and only went down twice in his career, both times from shock. But he'd obviously be ready for Joe Louis and when Lennox was ready and in peak physical condition he was as close to unbeatable as you can get. In such circumstances, he proved that he had the beating of every man he faced...and that includes a number of big punchers who he dealt with accordingly...Tua, Tyson, Ruddock, Morrison etc
before his comeback joe louis also defeated any1 he faced, and had a record of 58-1.
in this case thats not really an argument.
Louis beat alot of bigger fighters, but none with the talent of Lewis.
I believe this fight could go either way.
this is true, but Lewis has a glass chin compared to those guys, so I suspect he gets caught bad at some point during the fight. Louis wouldnt be scared of Lewis by any Margin.

well I mean, he squeaked by a shopworn Holyfield, who is very close to Louis in size as well but not nearly as dangerous, esp in 1999. This was Lewis prime vs an oponent that wasnt scared of him and belonged on that stage. Who else did Lewis really beat?

- - He beat the shell of what used to be Iron Mike Tyson that was a big deal in the day.
Lewis was koed twice with singular blows via extremely limit opposition. Louis power was incredible and he was surgically accurate with crippling short very quick blows to the body and head.
Around the eighth round Louis ducks a wide left hook and bury’s his own hook to Lewis body. The follow up right cross ends the fight.
