Although interestingly RJJ and Toney have moved up successfully in this era of "supersized" HW's whereas dominant LHW's of the past such as Foster and Moore always got found out against the smaller HW's.
Makes you wonder if speed might be a factor that does count a little?

I wouldn't argue that Steward has managed to paper over Wlad's weaknesses but they are still there. You could also say the opposition is not of the quality to exploit those weaknesses.

Surely you wouldn't argue that the HW division was far deeper in the 70's and 90's than today?

Since Ezzard Fan, GJC, and Sonnyboyx are handling this so well anything I might add would be piling on......green K forthcoming as soon as it allows me.

PS. I've seen statues with more mobility and faster hands than Wlad

I'd give Lewis the best shot, then Wlad, then Vitali. I'd favor Ali over all three, though none would be quite as easy as some would like to believe.

One thing about Ali, he always found a way to win, even when past his best. Truly a once in a lifetime fighter.
