The story lines up. Ward got caught ducking, of course his natural instinct would be to lie his way out of humiliation. Ward was a typical protected overrated American hype job. GGG is an all time legend.

Golovkin heard about it and said OK Floyd, I will fight you at 154. Floyd's response? He went into hiding and never said a word about it again. That's a duck. Floyd put out a bluff challenge, GGG answered it. Floyd went into silent hiding.
3G could've made the cut to 154 easily too being not a pound over 170 out of camp given these MMA fighters all cut 20-25 each.

Mayweather shouldn't have bragged himself up to 154.

Triple G should not have wasted his time replying, knowing full well there would be no fight..

Two different size men. Not a fight even worth staging.

Too much WWE being passed off as negotiations.

          ..........................

Mayweather was claiming to be the best 'light weight' fighter around.

Triple G was becoming an ATG MW.

Mayweather should have stopped his boasting at WW (147) but ego got the best of him, (154 was too close to MW, which Mayweather never was) so Triple G decided to break his balls a little.

It wasn't Mayweather's place to claim he could dominate the Jr. MW class and by proxy the MWs. He couldn't.

So he had to tuck in his chest, lower his head, and go quiet for a time.

I'm glad GGG did it. Called out the bullshlt.

Ward must have sensed the writing on the wall about the rumours of the real deal Soviets Bivol and Beter (as opposed to Kov who wasn't bad himself) who were knocking on the door at the time and lock in/ cash in his 0 status expecting to have the superstar treatment for the rest of his life as a career/business move.

Still Haney cuts from 165lbs being a 140 fighter is very close to 3G walk around weight, in terms of weight discrepancy it would not have been anything unseen given Haney is not much bigger than/similar sized to Mayweather.

It wasn't my suggestion that Triple G couldn't have delivered.

I was saying Mayweather had over shot his wad and realized he couldn't fight Triple G.

In Mayweather's defense . . . I would have suggested he comit to the Triple G fight so long as it was a same day weigh-in.

That might have been a true 150 go worth seeing.

But with these multiday dehydration protocols fighters often enter the ring much too large for the weightclass.

GGG's offer is only genuine, to me, if he would have accepted a same day weigh-in.

Post a link where Mayweather said he would fight at 160. Otherwise you're lying. Golovkin's team did say he would fight anyone from 154-168. It was he who was called out on his BS and lowered his head and " tucked in his chest" when Andre Ward called out his BS.

But your obvious double standards( you know why) are as clear as day here. Thanks for proving my point LOL

While at the same time accusing everyone he doesn't like of having been "banned for racism", all the while posting under a piss-take alt because he was banned for racism. It's always a Pee Wee's Playhouse "I-Know-You-Are-But-What-Am-I?" with these Not See forum roaches.
