Ward then gets a gift in the first fight and should have been DQ'd in rematch. Kovalev wasn't on the same level as GGG and Ward struggled with him. Now Ward is desperate for a fight with a low-skill washed up HW where he wants to make the fight in UK because no one will pay to see him in the U.S. He couldn't even sell out venues in his hometown of Oakland.
