    Pure BS

    Vitali weighed 248 Lewis 256 1/2
Why didnt Lewis come in at that weight when he fought

    Butler 261 v Lewis 248
    Grant260 v Lewis 247

You make it up as you go along don't you! lol

But I’m about 90% sure I have the magazine for that month and Solis was in the Top 10.

My memory does fail me these days but I’m quite sure.

      • Vitali Klitschko 41-2 (38 KOs) vs. Odlanier Solis 17-0 (12 KOs)
      • Solis became mandatory challenger after stopping WBC's No. 1 contender Ray Austin in December 2010.
      • Official on January 10.[1]
      • Vitali Klitschko entered as The Ring Magazine No. 1 heavyweight contender and Solis was the No. 10 contender. Vitali's brother Wladimir was the magazine's heavyweight champion.

        - - Sounding illiterate again, eh?

Did you object to Lewie gaining weight steadily in his career?

Or Lewie getting beat up and quitting boxing after Vit when he was planning 5 more fights?

        Or both?

Solis was WBC no. 1 contender when he challenged Vitali.

Because Grant and Butler were not in the league of Vitali.

Nobody knew how good undefeated Grant was beforehand ,and you said he added weight to match strength, now you're contradicting yourself,as I said, you make it up as you go along.

Insiders knew Grant was limited, as Lewis said international amateur experience is a huge advantage, and Grant had none of that experience.

He was still the number one contender. And if he was only Vits resume as a win he probably either be his best or second best win. So if he was so limited what does that say about Vits level of competition?

The Brothers Ks had no drama. They can't be great.

The only drama both ever produced was a 'questioned quit.' One each, that's not greatness.

Great fighters create drama. Drama's how we recognize their greatness.

Resumés can be cooked. At some point, all are.

Wlad was the most boring heavyweight I can remember. All those tools in his bag and he wouldn't take chances. But he was great. You don't stay on top as long as he did without laser focus. He also fought most of the best fighters of his era, which is what a champion is supposed to do.

Vits took the easy route. He was definitely more fun to watch than Wlad, but he never challenged himself by stepping up his level of competition.

Wlad went after greatness. Vits just hung on to his coat tails while lil bro did all the heavy lifting.

I got Wlad either 10th or 11th all time given his longevity (even though it was a terribly weak era) and his cleaning out of the division. Vits doesnt make my top 20. Maybe not my top 25 all time heavyweights. He lost to the two best fighters he faced and never went after the cream of the crop in the heavyweight division. He's an admirable man and could have been a great fighter, but he just wasn't. At least not when it comes to his resume.
