Most MuayThai boxers in Thailand retire in their mid twenties. And most compete between 108-126 lbs. By the way VK was both an amateur and professional champion kick boxer. I thought you might give that some credit.

Some of the notable muay thai fighters I've trained with that are well passed their mid twenties and fight at a higher weight than 126. Superbon, Nong-O and Petchtanong Petchfergus.

I've watched Vits Kickbox. It's more conducive to points karate. When you start incorporating leg kicks, elbows and knees that where the real pain begins. Not taking away from him. But what he did doesnt compare to Muay thai. It's like flag football compared to the NFL.

Okay, you have a point. If I were an MMA fan I could say that Muay Thai is like girls flag football compared to MMA as it uses the entire body. Personally I think MMA has too many chokes and joint bars in it.

Besides, Long Duck Dong would clearly beat the guys you mentioned in the movies. He was very good at the drunken master style. But Dong fought dirty in his fight vs. Jake Ryan. He later apologized and there was no bad vibe between them.

Actually Muay thai is the striking foundation of MMA.

Well Long Duck Dong and his druken master style would find the holes in Muay Thai defenses.

The Muay Thai stance leaves the groin, solar plexus, and ribs exposed to attack along with other areas. A hook punch to the jaw can easily penetrate the Muay Thai fighter's defenses. As such they would be no match for him. "Nuff said.

You don't see much of a traditional muay thai stance anymore. It more of a boxers stance just a little more squared. But ye, drunken master always wins.
