billeau2 understands Foreman's man handling ways better than most, hopefully he chimes in. When I was a kid I was confused watching Frazier demolished by Foreman thinking "Foreman is just pushing Joe constantly and then throwing uppercuts, this looks so basic and predictable how is Joe not able to deal with this?"

This video explains in detail the mastermind of Foreman's style

It saddens me that few people know that with Foreman we had the last of an era. a man who became a champ in the 90s using 19th century boxing techniques successfully it's so remarkable.

          - - What, no contract to show by U? I don't subscribe to NY Times. U minder on strike?

Told U dumminess that Clayton was in charge of Tyson then who went on to the Buster upset which was orchestrated by King who was in his first stages of securing Mike's $50mil retirement account his HOF team put together.

Lmao....so you have no proof (what a surprise) of some fight in China being signed, and now you're claiming King orchestrated his cash cows down fall?

It means that if you face even one guy big and strong enough to put you on the back foot, you're screwed. Because you will never be in balance for your offense.

This flasy style relies on being in mid range where you can hit your opponent while he can't hit you. As soon as Tyson is in mid range, he will be grappled by Foreman and he will never get set, have his offense muffled and be met with short hooks and uppercuts.

After even 2 or 3 moments of that in the opening round, Tyson will be desperate, get sloppy and lose his mind. I doubt this goes past round 1 and definitely not beyond round 2.

He literally is making the fight easier for Foreman who is an expert at cutting off the ring to land his offense. You could have asked Joe Frazier about that.

This style was very flashy but required a genetic freak to make it work, and it's so taxing on the body you will have a short career, and again if you meet a big slugger who can't be bullied and loves to take you into his world in close, you are screwed. That is why so many boxers learned this style but very few made it successful. It's very overrated.
You're literally describing Tyson POST-Kevin Rooney.

Literally none of that applies to Cus D'Amato/Kevin Rooney's fighter.
