As many have said in this thread prime Fury had incredible movement and speed for a man of his vast size.

The Tyson of Wlad and Wilder 2 is a head to head nightmare for any heavyweight in history.

People seem to delight in ridiculing him now, but a shot version gave the superb Usyk two very good fights.

Oh and despite being down several times he has always got up.

Not many heavy champions can say the same.

But p4p he’s not very good at all and wouldn’t beat any good heavyweights with a pulse. He would get completely run over by the manassa Mauler that fought Willard. Knocked out cold sleeping.

Tyson was never 50lbs overweight in a fight.Here he is young ,and with some puppy fat around his hips,but otherwise pretty lean.

Now we'll get revisionist history where Tyson has slowed down and used to be perfect. People will conveniently forget his boxing got him floored by Wilder and that's why he brought in dirty boxing, and they will claim he dances less now because he got old not because he's being safer than ever.

At no point in time did Tyson Fury have the talent to beat Usyk. He hardly had the talent to beat Wilder for Christs' sake. He got exposed on talent and went for size advantage. Usyk took that away from him, and did it as the smaller man.

So yeah, I'm fully prepare to read about Fury slowed down like as if that's a bad thing and that BS he does didn't get him looking at lights against a low skill opponent.

There were 100's of boxers in the 1990's who were 6'6 250 pounds plus and nobody ever said they were super heavyweights or had a advantage. I'm not a diehard Dempsey fan. anyone on this forum will tell you that. my favorite fighter is Harry Greb. I like Langford. Johnson. and of course Marciano. I also rank Armstrong very high and Louis.

I defend Marciano because he is WAY better than people think he is. Thats all. I seem to be the only damn person on the forum that sees this. I get called every name in the book for it. I don't know if Marciano beats every HW in history. I don't know if he beats Johnson, or prime Charles or prime Louis.

When you guys say absurd statements about such a high caliber fighter it blows my mind thats all. You really don't know how good he actually was. Marciano was a one of a kind fighter. an all time great. Usyk is not on his level sorry.
