Do you know when abouts punch counting and such became routinely covered?

I don't question them boys at all, I'm just curious.

No,I don't ,I do know Tommy Loughran stated Greb," had almost inhuman powers of endurance",and that Armstrong had an unusually slow heart beat, which was said to be the reason he could keep up such a frenetic pace.

One obvious example has been overlooked in Salvador Sanchez. I read once that he, too, had a slower resting pulse than normal (in fact 48 bpm, if I remember right) and in 60 seconds always returned to resting pulse rate. He turned it up in rd 14 of Lopez II and got the KO. He did the same to professor Nelson in the 15th. His style had boundless energy with him almost never standing still. He twisted every which way avoiding punches, and threw them from weird angles, and may have had quite a bit in common with Greb, though the Mexican was possibly a harder puncher P4P.

Sanchez --> Kind of like Monzon. Not particularly explosive just a relentless machine for endless rounds.

No clue what Greb fought like. He was thought of as a great fighter by his contemporaries, but yet the odds for the welterweight Walker fight were close.

He wasn't the legend we paint him as today.

Many bet the welterweight Walker would beat him.

P.S. Why would that crowd be calling for a Dempsey fight. (Sorry, digressing back to my other post.)
