Nobody who actually watched Pryor in real time says he's "overrated".

This is what happens when people's only resource is Wikipedia.

His 5 year reign as 140 king is still talked about by people who actually know boxing.

Where will Terence Crawford, who Unified the belts at 140 rate down the road? Could he have beaten Pryor?

        - - The fight could not be legally made when soft lad Ray made his offer, the whole reason he did so.

What grade was U in when your school finally kicked U out?

Why couldn't the fight be made?

Oh shiat! Now your askin for trouble lol!! Watching Pryor at work is kind of like watching the late Kevin Randallman using wrestling skills in MMA... Akin to watching the Alien monster opening its six mouths, and then you see a puree where someone once stood.

I think this fight would be monumental! Crawford has good grappling skills and knows how to fight. So Pryor would not be up against a pure puncher like Alexis. I still think Pryor could win that fight overwhelming Crawford... I might go so far as to say that is a prediction.

Because the Queen B says so? That is usually the logic behind his insane predictions.

I thought the the Leonard-Pryor go was ruined by Leonard's eye surgery.

Anyone know if that is possibly what happen?

I heard a story, I THINK is was Aaron Pryor speaking, that when he heard the news announce SRL's retinal surgery and likely retirement, he had to pull off the road and broke fown in tears, because knew he would never get the fight.

Was that Pryor? Someone tells that story.

In 1980 Pryor turned down 500,000 to fight Leonard. This was before Ray's eye problems happened.

Pryor was offered the fight in December of 1980. He turned it down and went on to fight Lennox Blackmoore and Dujaun Johnson that year while Leonard went on to fight Larry Bond Ayub Kalule and Hearns that year. It would have been a career high payday for Pryor who passes on the fight for what?
