    Top 20 heavyweights all time

All are welcome to criticize, this is my opinion though. You're probably not going to change my mind, but If you're going to try, at least post your own top 20 so we're on an even playing field.

My list is based on resume, level of competition and longevity. Head to head is completely irrelevant when it comes to ranking fighters because it simply isn't something you can apply as factual.

    1. Joe Louis
    2. Muhammad Ali
    3. Larry Holmes
    4. Lennox Lewis
    5. Jack Johnson
    6. George Foreman
    7. Mike Tyson
    8. Sonny Liston
    9. Evander Holyfield
    10. Wladimir Klitschko
    11. Rocky Marciano
    12. Joe Frazier
    13. Harry Wills
    14. Jack Dempsey
    15. Ezzard Charles
    16. Ken Norton
    17. Joe Wlacott
    18. Sam Langford
    19. Jim Jeffries
    20. Rid**** Bowe

Honorable mention: Oleksander Usyk, Joe Jeannette, Tyson Fury, Max Schmeling, Vitali Klitschko.

I expect Usyk to move up this list before his career is over barring a move back down to Cruiserweight.

I don’t object to your list, but what I find SO ridiculous is that names like Rid**** Bowe or **** Tiger get censored.
If the boxingscene AI pretends to be so keen on not offending anyone, why is it insulting the memory of two great
fighters by refusing to call them by their names?

In the case of Riddick Bowe, it only gets counterproductive.
If you just see Riddick Bowe in writing, you don’t think about it,
but if you see Rid**** Bowe with the asterisks, you wonder “why are there four asterisks there?”.
And then you say “oh, that’s why.” The AI assisted you to find a dirty word.

(The letter c in italics. For some reason, the censor doesn't work when mixing styles).

I am sure they can tweak it, but that would mean man hours and money.

It seems the AI is fantastic at finding "offenses" but the subsequent censorship protocol is limited; old; not AI.

I think their new AI is feeding information to an obsolete computer program and its ability to distinguish is lacking.

But boy the damn AI is finding everything. You can't hide your dick, that's for sure.

The best thing would be if we weren't so easily offended nowadays.

It's all good. If it's meant to it will. If it's not, at least we can complain about how ridiculous AI is and how fragile people's feelings have become.

I tend to do my rankings different, I usually rank based on how good I felt they were in the ring relative to others, what you state to be, "irrelevant...because it simply isn't something you can apply as factual" which is fine, because it just means we are measuring something different.

That being written, you list "resume" and "level of competition" as your first two criteria, yet have Louis ahead of Ali, which intrigues me. Ali has 7 wins against your top 16, Louis best win, based on your list, is against #17. Do you feel like the 'Bum of the Month' longevity plus the Conn wins are that much greater than rest of Ali's resume (Patterson, Williams, etc) to elevate him to #1?

You could switch Ali and Louis and I wouldn't have a problem with it. I happen to prefer Louis 25 consecutive title defenses. Ali has the better resume and is certainly worthy of number one depending on what you prefer.
