Your a hypocrite. You say it is the finances right? Yet Lewis dropped his mandatory Ruiz, who was nary a threat to anyone, to fight Michael Grant, who the FANS percieved as a dangerous opponent and was certainly more dangerous than Ruiz. Lewis, interested in legacy took the Grant fight. Yet you claim he lacks? The Klits took all their sorry mandatories... Is that how finance works?
So no... its not all about finances and you only bring them up when it suits your innane premise(s). Sorry little man... you are getting called on your BS!!! No exit!! Sartre!!!!Comment

I known nothing about the Sanders rematch.
But if there is any truth to the story that a fighter had to gurantee a fight with the other brother before getting a fight with the first brother. Than everything about the Brothers K is wrong.
1. It diminishes their reigns as champion.
2. It leaves open the door to believing any nefarious story we might hear.
How often do we encounter a fighter who admits he got beat? It takes a truly confident man to admit that.
For me I have heard or read only a few, very few.
Bramble referring to Santos Cardona
Dempsey referring to Tunney
Leonard referring to Hearns II
That's all I can remember. Maybe there is a Max Bear quote in there somewhere.
50 years as a prize fight fan and I can only think of those three examples.
Has anyone read of or heard a fighter say "I don't want a rematch I can't beat him"?
I have. One time. Harry Greb after the fifth Tunney fight. Greb addressed the crowd and said just that.

Ks always took the easy way out. Their mandatories were usually jokes. But they can go to vulnerable morons like you and say see I fought my mandatory ;-).

More bs lol. First of all, let's assume for the sake of argument that Ruiz had better stats. It didn't matter. Grant was considered a legitimate threat while everybody knew Lewis would beat Ruiz.
