https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7WMKGmYV4U this video is good about the topic you are asking about. i enjoyed this video. ali vs the modern hw boxers. let me know what you think. the bit about ali changing style to beat that southpaw was enlightening.

Usyk already cleaned out the cruiserweight division. Remember? Can he clean out cruiserweights from former eras? Now he has to deal with other cruiserweights from the past, nothing more. Guys like Marciano, Dempsey, Tunney and Louis would have cleaned out our cruiserweight division too--and quick.

I am not sure they can beat Usyk though. He is already faster, other than Tunney, and if those cruiserweights put on pounds they will be even slower with less stamina. Usyk is exactly the right size to topple men from all eras of heavyweight--both past and present. He can already beat the present guys. I believe he would also whip a Klitscho and whip him good--either galoot. The current big boys are handled, now for the little guys, is what the old timers are saying.

"Size doesn't matter" deserves a banned word in response. To hear some guys talk, featherweights must punch as hard as heavyweights. It must be big news that they don't.

****Note where is Apples. Did he get banned too?

One could make the argument that it is easier to clean out divisions when the talent pool is shallow. Did beating Joshua and Fury demonstrate greatness in Usyk, or did it expose fighters who were hyped up and technically flawed? Perhaps he answer is somewhere in between.

I agree Usyk has the skill to beat Wlad, but several of us have compared Wlad to Carnera—both in size and boxing skill. Carnera was known as a strong marginal fighter who benefited from fixed fights.

I didn't say anything about great. I am judging who Usyk would beat right now. He has a problem with 60s & 70s heavyweights though--they were the right size too.

Fury for rematch needs to focus more on tactics. He needs many plans, I agree his dad didn't help. I love big john like he is my uncle but he didn't help. tyson needs to plot tactics like usyk plotted. this is like ali vs frazier 1.
I will let queeny have his moment! He loves eastern europe, I will not deny him his moment. I will allow him to hold his willy in his sweaty hand and try and smack it like he did in his twenties while watching and rewatching the near tko.
It is hard on a man when he is seen as a traitor by his countrymen and who has had a history of anti usa propoganda so i will say to all forum members allow queeny his moment as God knows he may not have too many left. All I want to say to queeny is I know you are very excited old queen but remember as you watch and rewatch the near tko that viagra can increase the pressure on arterial valves so try not to get too carried away and if you start to feel lightheaded turn the tele fight near tko off and let go of your willy and allow a few moments to just remember THERE WILL BE MORE!

Fact is Usyk has dominated his traditional 200lb class for 12 years now never missing a beat.

If U want to roll around with Blubber or any of the usual suspects that soft lads fawn over, hey, it's a new day and OK...

Please excuse me, could one of you be so kind as to turn the stove off and walk the dog? I am going to shoot myself...no worries! I will just mossy away here...

This thread is so ridiculous. Lets bump this thread after the Fury rematch... Lets try to pretend that Usyk is in an era where fighters do significantly less in the ring and often show up out of shape. Usyk has the boxing IQ of fighters like Charles, another cruiser weight sized heavyweight fighting machine... But he presides in a weak era... the skills that he is so lauded for having were di riguer for any great fighter in previous divisions. Usyk would have a time of it against 80's early 90's heavyweights who had skills! And this idiot Queen B is saying he could beat the great fighters in the past?

Usyk has to prove a bit more before he even gets mentioned in the same breath as Tunney! As Holmes, Liston...
