Pacquiao and mayweather are good fighters.

but in past eras there would be fighters around that could consistently beat them

    thats all

they are the best of the last era, which isn’t as good as a previous best and so on and so forth all the way up until its the golden era with the most poverty, most fighters competing and more frequent fights to stay active coupled with the best trainers. Hard times create hard people, and boxing is a hard sport. It had a lot of good brains around back then that really understood fighting

the smartphone era definitely didn’t produce the greatest boxers of all time I can guarantee you that much.

Pacquiao was born into abject poverty.I consider him an ATG.

Whereas Foster almost always lost above 174. Beter went to the quarterfinals of 2012 London Olympics as a 91KG/200 LBer, beating Michael Hunter Jr, a ranked pro Heavyweight just a couple of years again, and losing to Usyk.

Dunno your age, but just being a boxer ain't enough for you to just dribble about what you don't know.

I think thats one reason why he was such a phenom. He was a total throwback. There aren’t many places you can draw poverty tricken street kids from now that aren’t destroyed by drugs. It was like a man fighting a schoolboy but we all didn’t pay attention.

Nah, Foster would spark beter easy. Beter would never get past his jab I can promise you that much. Theres no way in hell he’s gonna have masterful headmovement or even the experience to know what to do vs a 6’4 sniper at 175.

as for Spinks just forget about it Beter can’t lay a glove on him

I don't know, how Beter would do against Foster and Spinks - nobody does! But at the very least, he would be a strong and dangerous opponent for both. Any non-biased poster here would probably feel the same way.

However, you're not really a non-biased "expert", are you? You're the Ken Ham of this forum, spouting out unprovable stuff, like it's the truth, and immune to common sense. Your contempt for modern boxing/boxers is so strong, that it almost looks like a religious belief - where Mike Silver is your God, and "The Arc of Boxing" your bible!

Foster fought about 45 men above 174lbs,he lost to 8 of them.
                  Ali
                  Frazier
                  Terrell
                  Folley
                  Jones
                  Mina
And to Wassaja and Hazelton when he was 35 and 36 years old.
I'd pick Ali,Frazier Terrell and Folley to beat Beterbiev ,Jones and Mina would be close.

I don't see Hunter's name in the RING end of year ratings, which win would have made him a top ten heavyweight?

Of course he would - you know that, I know that, and everybody of sound mind knows that. Only someone completely delusional would think otherwise!
