and yeah there are no good fighters in General now, I donât think its a skin thing.

and yes because there is a certain look you can see and almost guarantee someone has a good chin. And if certain races sport this you can call it a stereotype
You know, after that crazy thread from a couple of years ago, where you claimed to have proof, that the oldtimers were braver with better chins... you have, from time to time, posted stuff that actually makes sense! Which I have found most welcome, since you're obviously someone with no small amount of knowledge.

But now I see this, and wonder if you're back to your usual modern-bashing ways!

If a guy looks a certain way, you can almost guarantee, that he has a good chin? And, generally speaking, there are no good fighters today? Jesus...

Because a thin face provides more leverage to a punch that lands on the chin, a squat head with a short neck is the opposite. A thin faced fighter like Hearns for example will always struggle to take a hard shot.

Yeah the way fighters fight in the ams, which is a different sport. It doesnt really prep them for professional fighting.

amateur boxing used to be more like the pros.

who do you think today would be a good fighter?

how does beterbieve do vs Foster or Spinks?

So no good modern fighters? Surely prime versions of Mayweather, Pacquiao, Loma, GGG, Gonzalez, Usyk, Rigondeaux were all excellent fighters. And how about today's Inoue... are you telling me, he's not a good fighter?

Them Crapples can be a stubborn man. But it cannot be denied oldsters accumulated more experience in the ring than modern pussyfoots who only fight about twice a year for a 12 round championship. I figure some oldsters beat the moderns and some moderns beat the oldsters. To think that Canelo or Golovkin could handle Robinson, Monzon or Hagler is an outright guffaw. Those guys would wade through the likes of Jermall Charlo in a few rounds.

Yeah wilfredo gomez would knock Inoue out. Non of these guys are good because there isn’t anyone good to fight.

Inoue fights like a really good amateur who fights very aggressively. Everyone thinks he has a pro style, he doesn’t.

he went life and death with an old Donaire.

same thing w salido dealing with Loma. Nobody throws body shots anymore. They weren’t all low, just ammy fighters never deal w body punches much

Right, so none of those guys I mentioned are any good. Mayweather, Pacquiao, no good. Inoue fights like an amateur. Nobody throws bodyshots anymore, I get it.

If only they could teach Inoue to punch to the body, I think he could turn into at least a half-decent fighter... but at 30, it's probably too late. What a wasted talent!

                    - - Beter a hvywt in their day, so Foster knocked out post haste leaving The Jinx to sort Beter after he embarrassed tubby Lar. Be a fantastical fight needing a trilogy to sort out.
