I understand the herd mentality for Ali, but trust me, he's been stealth slipping for a while in the pantheon and will soon be relegated to a lower ranking as some young stud comes along.
Of course. Remember how nobody could imagine Ali beating Tyson, until we suddenly all could ?

    Nothing changes but the date.

I suppose people like a boxer for his persona like wrestlers and base their opinions on how entertaining they were in their day whereas on here we deal purely in stats and rankings. You must agree that the personality of a great boxer can win a fight from the off by getting inside the other guys mind like ali did to frazier and foreman and the way fury has done with wilder. When people say wilder couldn't box i ask why then he could never be beaten by all those guys? If he ain't able to box it should have been easy for any regular boxer to expose him, but I digress.

You feel Ali got inside Frazier's head?

I will assume you mean Manila.

I would say Ali's insults only made Frazier a tougher opponent.

I can't see the man they called 'smokin' getting psyched-out, only meaner.

Besides Joe had put Muhammed on the canvas. A KD doesn't mean that much in the scoring but in the mind of fighters they always both remember.

ali said on parkinson show "to beat a man talk to him" he said the only man who spoke back was joe. When he said "you're crazy you gotta be crazy to fight me" and no one ever replied cept frazier who said "yeah I'm crazy"

            - - Deyonce could never box…period.

French Duhapas took their fight on a couple weeks short notice and was beating up and shuttting one blackened eye completely aka Holmes/Truth Williams fight.

Natch Boxing ain’t ever gonna let their favs get stopped until they can squeeze their $ out of them.

Duhapas solved the Helenius problem with much greater efficiency than Joshua did. No slouch, he.
