We can see present limitations right now. Has anyone upgraded 16 fps footage and made the movement look completely natural? I haven't seen it. Definitely much better than formerly but still unnatural, as in for instance the colorized version of Leonard/Tendler on Youtube. I want it to be as clear and natural as watching a fight on HBO. I have confidence. I don't think it even requires better AI. Such software may not be commercially available to the public yet. Is it that hard? I suspect the CIA or Google could do it right now if they saw enough profit in it.

In this thread I have several times asked if you can agree, that no AI machine of the future will be able to predict, what is going to happen in a fight 15, 10 or even just 5 sec down the line - and each time you have refused to answer, but have instead come up with some weird stuff about how all the available fight footage throughout history will help AI to form an opinion! But I take it, you now finally agree, that it's not really possible for AI to look into the future (of a fight) for any length of time - right?
Well I had no idea this was the question I was arguing about lol. Of course AI isn’t going to be com*****g our very futures tommorow. Thats some insane future ai. I am talking about upscaling to realism. I am starting to realize you often don’t understand me and that is why we argue a lot.

I'm not illiterate, so I understand you just fine, and am commenting on what you're saying.

So you had no idea, this was the question we (you and I) have been arguing about in this thread? How many times have I asked you, if you will not agree, that no AI machine can look 15, 10 or even just 5 sec into the future of a fight? And each time you have refused to give me a clear answer - but have instead made strange claims about how access to all the available fight footage in the world, will help AI to make predictions.

But if your stance is, that AI naturally won't be able to "see" several seconds into the future - why didn't you just say so, the first time I brought it up? It would have been very easy for you to say that, no you don't believe AI in the future can predict what's going to happen in a fight (even for a very short period of time). So why didn't you just do that? It would have saved us both from wasting time with this silly back-and-forth debate!

            - - Now if AI was a smart as claimed, it could say say it sees micro movements of boxers 10 seconds in the future to place a bet in micro time online that clears out the bookies before ruling the world of course...easy work if you can get it...

Information needs to appear earlier and distort the odds.

One can not bet on a prize fight once it starts.

Think about it: Let me watch just the first round of a fight and then make a bet and I would right now, be living large.

But I do believe that AI is going to SOON take on an ability to start throwing out profoundly high probability numbers and that is going to wreak havoc on sport betting across the board. It will change its entire structure, as you suggest, somehow.

                - - Early bareknucks the $$$Men would roam the spectators offering odds at the moment. I believe such occurred as late of Liston/Clay one when the mob lost their early rd KO and roamed the crowd with still good odds on Liston who was instructed at that point in time where the mob had cut their losses to retire on his stool.

ie; Mob fighter don't quit a fight unless told for obvious reasons not that it did Liston's future health any favors.

Obviously you have impeccable sources to support this?
