Pea was seriously one of the top most boring fighters. You just knew beforehand that he would win an uneventful decision making you sleep after the first 3 rounds only for you to wake up nine rounds later having missed nothing and an rbr would have been the same no matter the round lol.

The night of the Chavez-Whitaker fight Bobby Czyz kept calling Whitaker "Pee-Wee' -- twice he was corrected and twice he ignored the correction and kept on saying 'Pee-Wee.'

I could not tell if Czyz was being bias and just didn't like Whitaker or if pugilistic dementia was already setting in.

On an Italian TV show Rosi and his wife were caught finding silly excuses to reject a black kid (wearing a hidden camera) who wanted to join the gym, only to accept a white kid (obviously part of the same plot) just minutes later.

Then all of this disappeared. You won't find trace of anything, on the web or elsewhere. Rosi has always had good connections. Same with Oliva, Cantatore, Branco and the likes.

Always liked Pernell actually. Sven Ottke's a really good pick though. And Wlad from another poster too. Especially later in his career. Guess I like defense, but well executed defense. That's why I hate in other sports when commissioners change the rules to screw over defenses when they get too dominant. Takes the balls out of the game. I like stuff like The Steel Curtain, 2000 Ravens or Giants defenses from their older days or their first 2 Super Bowls. I enjoyed the NBA more late 80s into early 2000s because of it. Before all the crappy rules changes.
