Jeffries was never 300lbs ,and he was down to weight 9 months before their fight but you wouldn't know that would you?
Or that Jeffries was favourite to win that fight? 227pounds is a pretty substantial ghost
I pay waiters to bring ,and serve me my dinner ,if they want to watch me eat it I charge them.

      - - Reputed to be 350 when the fight was signed.

Incontestable that he grotesquely overtrained to get down to fighting weight on a birdseed diet.

Him vs weak as a kitten Holmes’ Ali would be the only fair match for those two, but even that would be criminally cruel.

      Sorta like U turning pro…

I hold London to a very high standard... Hence the dismay... London wrote incredible Socialist tomes that were about progressive causes for the working men of Oakland... He had what everyone else loved, a sense of animal rights and love for "man's best friend," as I and so many do... So yeah, I don't tend to concern myself with "what Corbett thought." Corbett was a braggert and exploited his talents to the fullest, not really an autodidact, or University scholar that had much to share. I tend to think London was better than that and it bothers me to no end how blind he was to the hypocracy.

I imagine Queen B could be quite the heel! In the movie 'Ed Wood' George the Animal Steel played Tor, and was incredible lol! he is going into the wrestling cage, hair everywhere upon him (Tor was a hairless Swede lol), the crowd is calling him names as he grunts... the irony in this case, was massive in every sense of the word (not just considering the weight of the individuals): Unlike Queen B Thor was civilized, spoke intelligently, had a reputation as being kind... and George Steel, was the same, also a High School Math teacher lol.

But I could see Queen B making his way to the ring as a heel in such a scenario!

He could be called the texan tycoon. He could come in and sell off his tag team partner behind his back then body slam him while everyone booo's.

Never 350lbs try 270lbs.Jeffries had over a year to train, and was in light training long before Sam Berger signed the contract for the fight. This is easily verified.
I wasn't anywhere good enough to turn pro, but at least I had the balls to get in the ring.
                    How about yourself?

I showed you where to find Chavalo's s reach, twice. With valid sources. I was not wrong on Louis, was I? No was not. I made one rare mistakes on Ocasio. I called him tricky and a southpaw. Since then I have retracted the southpaw part. Big deal. Lewis did not face any southpaws by the way. Neither did Louis I think.

Yes-- This thread is about Jeffries a good champion that beat his #1, #2, and #3 men in a little over a years time. I wish the modern guys who attempt of do that or at least fight the #2 guy ... Once.

A lot bothers you don't lie to us again. We could get pig sick.
