    We can all read them

And we are talking about Lewis here. I pay no attention the name of others. You feel the need to interject them as if that diminished the point. It does not. You fell the need to repost old easy to get facts as if it makes you look smart. It does not. Then again a liar like yourself says he has a 137 IQ.

I posted those others to illustrate what a total hypocrite you are
    Your 3 white heroes
    Jeffries and the 2 Klits fight a collection of stiffs and you not only never criticised them you made excuses for them on this Forum! No we aren't talking about Lewis here, we are talking about.;
Southpaw Heavyweight Contenders From1924 To 2023.

I should know, I made the thread!

NB As far as my IQ goes it was measured about 52 years ago and was in the 132/135 range, what it is now I have no idea ,but I'd be would be willing to bet its still appreciably higher than yours ! lol

You cannot even string a single sentence together without making a mistake.Go back over this last post of yours and you will see exactly what I mean.

He also avoided John Ruiz! And very mobile boxers like Larry Donald , and Juan Gomez ( who was a southpaw, and very mobile )

IMO, he had a stylistic problem matching up with south paws and mobile tricky boxers.

You could say they were no Southpaws for him to fight and be wrong. Even in Ali's day he had problems adapting to Karl Mildenberger. He did not look good vs Richard Dunnn either, but at least Ali fought southpaws. And he fought his share of mobile tricky orthodox fighters too.

A hole in Lewis' otherwise excellent resume. Admit it.

Now do you want to talk boxing objectively? Lewis was not the only famous heavyweight champion to avoid ranked southpaws or pass on fighting any southpaws at all.
In the interest of dialog balance, you may be onto something here. Southpaw fighters used to convert in the old days in order to get more fights. They can be extra trouble. Maybe team Lewis had discussed this, maybe not. BUT, where the wheels fall off for you is the insinuating that resulting from that possibility, Lewis was a "Ducker". Nobody listed on your missed contenders list supports such a claim.
      "Lewis ducked Chris Byrd". Yaaaa.

It was a GD sparing session for Ali. Fight should have never happened. Free TV and (I believe) a mere $600K payday for Ali says to was a stinker from the get go.
        - - $600K probably thrice what Ali was making back then when most big American venues wouldn't hold an Ali fight because of NOI security concerns, the whole reason he fought Chuvalo in Canada on short notice when the first Terrell fight in Chicago was cancelled.

The fight sold poorly and the promoters were in trouble.Ali agreed to take a $100,000 cut in exchange for 2000 tickets which he donated to US servicemen.

Ali's next fight against Norton was in a little place called Yankee Stadium, ever heard of it? lol

After the 1st Chuvalo fight Ali fought in such out of the way small venues as'
          MSG 5 times!
          The Huston Astrodome 4 times
The Convention Center Las Vegas3 times
          Tiny little places.lol

            - - You've mixed up the timelines badly to effectively create a mishmash of mush as is your M/O..

The Convention Center Vegas came before Chuvalo was hardly more than a postage stamp. He had to go overseas to Europe for his next 3 fights after his Candian fight vs Chuvalo to fight Euros nobody in America ever heard of.

He returns to the Houston Astrodome then the hottest venue going because Texas politics and security were more favorable such that he moves to Houston for a few years where I got to see him thrice, twice in sparring for Williams and Terrell, and once making his ****** movie in Houston from his ****** autobio that turned out to be a clown fraud such that it flopped as bad as a film could ever flop. He never had big sales for those Astrodome fights.

He made more than his career earnings vs Frazier because of Joe being a real fighter instead of a scattered gradeschool doggerel poet and shil for the NOI fighting fixed fights and bums.

One defense of Clay/Ali if I may.

Clay said right after winning the title, that he wanted to emulate Joe Louis and was going to be a 'fighting champion.' He even stated that there would be his own 'bum of the month run.'

After Chuvalo he announced he was now going to take his overseas tour. He saw it in keeping with the tradition of other great champions, and never really touted the fights anything more than international barn storming.

For better or worst he was a fighting champion and that means there will be 'bums.'

Haters have to hate let them spew their vitriol if only they would do it on their own threads.

I'm finding it an increasingly thankless task trying to make threads that will be of interest to those who want to discuss boxing ,only to have them sidetracked by morons like DR Z and Queensbury Fool.

I think I'll take a break here.As a VIP member on Classic ESB I no longer have to suffer the ads that used to crawl all over the posts there. This Forum is becoming singularly unrewarding due to those idiots taking every thread off its course.
