Man, "The President" beats TF outta Eddie Hearn's hype-machine.

Dude took bombs from David Tua for 12 rounds, where they threw more punches than any heavyweights in history.

So, Ike had power, stamina, and a chin.

    Joshua has power

That's it, but no chin and no stamina

I like Joyce by wide decision. It's been said that Kirk Johnson used to mostly get the better of Ike in sparring. I know how sparring sometimes gets overrated, but off of that, and with the effective jab Joyce uses at times, I can see Ike being kept at bay and mostly outboxed over the distance.

I think I disagree here. Joyce is strong, but he's slow. Ike showed a granite chin vs Tua and would be much faster. Joyce has his mo.ents being the bigger man, but I think Ibeabuchi's speed, work rate and chin carry him to a decision win. Very interesting about Johnson and Ike sparring though. That was back when Kirk actually trained and kept an eye on his diet.

And you might very well be right. I'm banking on the Joyce who timed Dubios very well, using that controlling jab to set the pace. Timing can trump speed. But the Ike that went at Tua was a fast attacking, dynamic monster with multiple approach. I will certainly agree Ike was far more ferocious and quicker thinking; instinctual, to these eyes, anyways. And if you are right, we'd see truly the extent of Joyce' engine and toughness. I'd pay to see it.

            - - Surely you can elucidate the fights in which AJ shows a lack of stamina...

Which version? Now Ike would TKO him.

Usyk via SD to UD. Usyk is hard to tag, has the stamina to box and move well all night without resting on the ropes and can take a heck of a shot.

I'm wondering....do you think it's looney to make things up with absolutely no proof to back those claims up? I'm no psychologist, but I'm betting there is some sort of mental illness this would fall under.
