That's a nice case of hindsight being 20-20 but Holyfield was older and much further past his peak, and was coming off a retirement due to heart issues. Mike Tyson at the time was considered the man in the divison once again.

With all that considered, as the big underdog Evander Holyfield beat him from pillar to post in the first one and made him quit the second one whilst winning every round.

I think it's incredibly difficult to argue that Tyson could be ahead of Holyfield in a H2H scenario when it's clear as day that Holyfield is the far superior fighter.
