      Good post thank you.
Brings tears to my eyes. Probably because of how and where I grew up. people often say Liston could be a violent brute... The guy was beaten by his deadbeat father and had over ten siblings... Yet despite that Liston had goodness. he responded when people gave him attention and some love. He was also a friend to kids. I grew up with a lot of violent homicidal guys, they did not have much love for anyone. Liston had his moments but wanted to be accepted. The guy was smart but could not read... very sad.

Of course LHO did it, that's a no brainer. The question is did anyone know before hand that it was coming?

I'd say no. Nobody important anyway; nobody important believed him.

He did probably brag repeatedly about how he was going to do it to a bunch of old Cuban men, but they laughed at him and went back to playing dominoes.

After having been laughed at enough times, by the Cubans and then the Russians, rejected by the Corp, and ignored by the CIA and FBI he . . . first tried to kill a retired general and when he missed he went after JFK. Ego will do that to you.

One thing I don't accept from the Warren Report is the conclusion that Lee Harvey was looking to carve out a place on history. That makes no sense.

We have a list of those type of assassins, and would be assassins, e.g. Booth, Guiteau, Czolgosz, Bremer, Hinkley, Moore, Fromme, Chapman, and they always act the same, they kill or try to kill up close and personal, with a handgun, and then readily take responsibility for the crime. Usually thinking they have something profound to say.

LHO didn't act that way, he killed from a distance, then killed again (Officer Tippet) to avoid getting caught, and then when caught venimately denied it

For a man supposedly looking for a place in history his behavior makes no sense. We have a list (above) of how such killers do behave.

LHO doesn't fit that frame. I believe Oswald was going to get praise (at least in his own mind) from someone. So who was that?

He wasn't about to go home to his shlt little apartment, eat a chicken pot pie, and NOT watch himself on TV.

MY CONSPIRACY THEORY: He must of had someone he wanted to strut in front of, but saddley I think it was nothing but a bunch of old Cuban men playing dominoes, who teased and laughed at him and never believed him. "Who you going to kill today Lee."

P.S. The looks on their faces, when the news came in, must have been priceless.

P.S.S. if there is a GOP primary runoff Trump is going to claim that DeSantis' father was in on it, (along with Cruz's father of course)? I'm ready to bet money Trump makes the claim at least once.

Great post. Liston was smart. He had kindness and witt too, and yes, he was a badd ass individual as well, with fingers like hot dogs. More complex than people were lead to imagine by a media still very racist and still not ready to accept a black man as the baddest man on the planet. One og the best ever, to be sure.

              - - Many if not most of the files are sequestered. Manchester sequestered his at the JFK Center to be opened upon the last living member of the family dies, ie Caroline.

Much of the Warren Commission is sequestered.

Too many other potential assassins simply didn't show up like Oswald did.

I've concluded most people are idiots, hence this crumbling world we live in, so thanks for proving my point.

Oswald didn’t even fire a weapon that day.

they found his finger prints after Ruby killed him.

                  - - Not gonna spend to much time on this, but....

                  1. Lee purchased the weapon mail order and had both the company receipt and mail receipt in his personal belongings.
                  2. Bullet ballistics matched the murder weapon that had been fired the day the police confiscated the weapon at the Texas Book Depository where Lee worked where the assassination was carried out on the 6th floor SE corner room where 3 shell casings and rifle were found.
                  3. There was a witness who saw the shooting from ground level in that window.
                  4. Shirt that he wore that day had gunpowder traces matching the military grade powder traces in the shells.
                  5. Oswald was seen inside the building as part of employees in the break room 10 minutes after police stormed the depository. He was shortly seen leaving the depository before an employee headcount could be completed by the manager for the police, witnessed by a prominent national TV newsman who asked him if there was a public phone inside.
                  6. A cabbie picked him up minutes later at a bus stop a few blocks from the depository and deposited him near the flophouse he had been living in.
                  7. Landlady greeted him coming and going were he picked up the .38 S&W used to kill Officer JD Tippet who stopped him for looking like the city wide assassination suspect alert.
8 There were several witnesses to the shooting taking place on a busy street near the Texas Theater he fled into. One witness used JD radio to call in the shooting for help.
                  9. There were two witnesses that saw Oswald enter the Theater without a ticket which is where the police arrested him in an physical altercation after he pulled his .38 out to shoot them. 10. The gun was registered to Oswald.

Still a few open ended questions left unanswered for lack of witnesses like if anyone had put him up to it? He had a previous botched assassination attempt on a retired Anti-Castro US General at his home that he did solo. He had Marina photograph him with WW1 bolt action Italian Mauser and .38 S&W. He fancied himself a revolutionary Lenin Marxist much like his envisioned Casto.

In a short few years more than 300 JFK assassination books had been pumped out, perhaps 10,000 or more by now 60 years later as a cottage industry staple.

If you turned 18 and lived to 70 doing nothing but eating, sleeping, and reading JFK shooting bios, probably take at least 2-3 lifetimes and a few eyeball transplants, so no, ain't going to read any pulp fiction you may dig up.

Really now, the Moon Landing in 1969 is better fodder for you because there were no witnesses save the participants of the "farcical plot to land men on the moon."

See, Moonie idjits had yet to be invented, but Elon Muskie gonna land Mars Loonies on the Red Planet to establish a new race of Loonies. Be a good project for you as they need some soft clay easily formed into their perfect vision for the project.

Oswald or AJ Hydell did order the weapon but he was seen on the 2nd floor of the lunch room while the shooting was happening.

JFK got **** from the front right. Just look at the film.

Oswald wasn’t a good shot anyway

Could've done it at age 12 along with a 1000 other 12 yr olds.

It's a no brainer shot. You seem to be flaunting your untutored ignorance of all things JFK. Need to stick to butchering boxing.
