Paul Briggs or Shannon? I don't think either belong. Just my opinion.

          The Cannon, Ol' pineapple head.

That's fair, to be honest he didn't do very much, but he is kind of famous.

Every single heavyweight champion of the modern era has earned an indication to the hall, by winning the oldest, richest, most internationally acknowledged individual title in the history of sport.
Each and every one has been enshrined upon eligibility with only the exception of Leon Spinks, James "Buster" Douglas, Michael Moorer, Shannon Briggs and Hasim Rahman.

You could argue that even at their best, none of these were ever for a moment the best in the world, even at their career zenith. But if that's the criteria for Induction, a good many enshrinees have come by their election dishonestly. Each held the crown of crowns, and that makes them royalty.

I don't think Moorer belongs on that list. I understand how with his number of defenses (lack thereof), he fits. But his sudden exit was an extraordinary event and, to me anyway, he shouldn't be grouped with those other "One Hit Wonders."

What makes them exceptions? Their short reigns? I can see that. At least they were the top guys by being lineal champions, Douglas also being undisputed as well when he beat Tyson.

Undisputed doesn't mean the title isn't in dispute, e.g. Tyson before the Spinks fight.

Undisputed is just a scantioning body BS term; we shouldn't acknowledge it, it only makes the scantioning bodies look legit.

Go lineal, go fan recognition. Don't be a scantioning body bitc h.
