Early in his youth Charr whooped Danney Williams not so far removed from his Tyson victory. Of later years whooped the once defeated Ustinov for the WBA title>>>> the middle of the global Corona Panic of 2020 Charr knocking out DKing undefeated contender Christopher Lovejoy after King froze him out of his American WBA fight with Trevor Bryan.

The ridiculous bitterness of some of these people is hysterical. I wasn't even a fan of Lewis back then. But the constant belittling had me watching his fights over and over, and constantly reassessing his resume.
          - - The above 'splains perfectly the origins of U monkey boxing IQ.

Who could be a part of the **** on ESB, a forum so dimwittedly ****** nasty that they had to shut down such like when a decrepit home in the neighborhood gets torn down, they flee to attempt infiltration of the nicer homes.

HBO spent an hour post fight putting up exploratory footage of where and when the first cuts appeared on Vitali. Given before and after Vit has never suffered much facial disfiguration, the Lewie fight represented extraordinary conditions. The crew finally zeroed in the 2nd round where Lewie missed a right hand with a whipping length of tape catching Vit on the side of his right eye, perfect razor like cut that didn't look serious at the start. Indeed, nearing the end, Lewie was grabbing Vit and rubbing his dreads into his eye, and more importantly, got in a bunch of illegal shots by grabbing the back of his head for uppercuts where Vit got a proper introduction of the English way of fighting.

Given Vit had been given 2 weeks notice for the fight and given he was originally tapped to replace Mike Tyson who was so fed up with the promotion that he quit, and then Lewie opponent Kirk Johnson mysteriously hurt his tltty to quit the promotion to usher in Vit, well, few shoddier promotions can be found.

But Vit won the War when he made Lewie quit his lucrative retirement tour the day before WBC was going to strip his title. Lewie been lounging on his purple velvet French sittee sucking down French BonBons ever since, a fighting mans' fighting man to be sure for this echo chamber of monkeys.

Queensbury Fool has posted total BS as usual .
Vitali was always scheduled to be on the Lewis v Johnson card as the chief supporting bout, his opponent

was to have been Cedric Boswell.

When Kirk Johnson pulled out with a muscle tear in his arm Vitali was offered the shot.

He had the same amount of notice about a change of opponent as Lewis !

" Green Vitali" Had 33 fights under his belt and was 32 years old! I month off 33!

Vitali had gone 10 rounds with Larry Donald just 6 months earlier.

Lewis had not fought since stopping Tyson in 8 rds over a year earlier..

Vitali was training to fight 6 ft 3 in Boswell

Lewis to fight 6 ft 2 in Johnson .

Who had to make the bigger adjustment?
            • A right hand from Lewis opened a grotesque cut over Klitschko's left eye in the third round.
            • Dr. Paul Wallace, the ringside physician, told the referee to stop the fight after the sixth round due to the cut over Klitschko's left eye.
            • Klitschko required 60 stitches to repair four cuts on his face and one cut in his mouth.
            • HBO's Harold Lederman had the fight scored 57-57 after 6 rounds.
Vitali was the WBC number one contender.

Just watched the fight again--> I say it was still a pick 'um when they stopped it.

Great showing by Vitali; poor showing by Lewis.

Lewis's title was at serious risk; or, Lewis was positioned to have a great comeback legacy building victory.

Too bad it all got stolen away by a cut. Didn't look like it was a foul. But you can't see anything definitive in broadcast.

HBO does got to a slow motion right hand that looks to be the cause.

Didn't see any other cuts that were effecting the fight.

Six cuts? --> just didn't see that.

I know. We've been over it 100 times. He'll show zero proof of any of his claims yet keep preaching the same BS.

It was a close fight. Vits was up, but Lewis was closing the gap. Both looked exhausted toward the end.

I don't think it was stolen away as it was Lewis' punching that caused the cuts. But i think we can ALL agree that we would have liked a more conclusive ending. I think it was a matter of time befor Lennox finished him, but we will never know for sure. Vitaly showed great heart in this fight and did much to redeem his image after quitting against Byrd. Both men should be applauded in this fight.
